natanyel michels I just turned all my seeds and gummies into Spinda's smoothies and buffed my Vulpix's and Riolu's stats and IQ to the extent that I didn't even need my moves or items. It's the only way to have a fair shot at the zero isles.
My first time playing through this Darkness... Listening to this music... An utterly magical experience. I have never been more proud to have played a game, and if I had to play one game for the rest of my life, I'd want it to be this one. I would be content to say Explorers of Darkness is my favorite Pokemon game of all time. Completely content. And what better way to make it a challenging but rewarding experience but playing the game for the first time as a Chikorita and Pikachu. *shudders at the memory of Deep Dark Crater*
Gates to Infinity and Super will never top this master piece. Such story depth, intense battle, incredible Pokemon and treasures to meet and find, and finally the ENDING!! I just had tears all over and never cried so much for a game before! It was a truly amazing experience!
Its because when you play this game you realy starts to have a connection with your partner in the game, its like him/she are really a real pokemon that is your best friend, and you starts to care about him/she, so when that happened, you starts to care about your friend and his/she tears.
Chunsoft made a great job doing a partner that you realy feel that its your friend and plus the music the gsmeplay etc etc makes this game one of the best rpgs i've ever played.
+ARB Pride I remember when grovyle came in our time he was stealing stealing the time gears everywone thought that he was a bad pokemon but the real bad pokemon was dusknoir a very bad pokemon who we thought was the hero.
The story was amazing...I've never in my life played a game that made me cry so much. Your partner really feels like your friend and you really care for them. The happiness and the heartbreak, the surprises and the tragedies...all of it felt real. For me, especially Grovyle made me cry the most at the end when he had to sacrifice himself for your sake. The stories of the new Mystery Dungeon games will never be able to compare to this one...
I wish I hadn't lost this game before moving out of the house ten years ago. I didn't know there was a menu for using moves so I always spammed tackle, eventually I got too scared to finish Dialga's dungeon because of the difficulty spike. Once I have the time to, I'll replay this on an emulator
Ah, Team Tangle... I'll never forget you. Ivy the docile Bulbasaur alongside Rei the sassy Riolu... The memories are just so overwhelming. This game is beautiful.

(He/she had only just started so it wasn't a big deal) But decided I might as well pick my own character so I started again and got charmander and beat the entire game as charmander instead... how stupid 9 year old me was....
I had to hear this song a LOT because I kept soft resetting when I using a guide to get Riolu and got someone other than him (That's a main reason I prefer playing the Wii U Virtual Console version of EoS, it's that soft resetting is MUCH easier on the VC). I'm not complaining, I really like this song. One of my favorites in the game, mostly due to nostalgia.

How can I get over this problem? What can I possibly do?" but this song is there to ease my nerves and letting me relax for a bit while thinking, it's a bit magical knowing I've been doing this for so long and that others find solace here as well, thanks to the team that made this game's soundtrack, you guys made something magical
The music in this game is just so atmospheric and relaxing. Obviously it's happy, sad, intense, etc. when it needs to be, but overall the soundtrack just feels so comforting and happy.

Literally just started this game and I'm already bawling. Infernape is my fav, so naturally I kept resetting until I got Chimchar. I still tried to answer honestly each time I reset tho, and most of the results didn't sound right anyway. And then the result that sounded the MOST like me was for the mon I wanted all along! He's just like me man 😭
I sorely miss this game. Coming back to the music makes me feel at home. Although I spent a good hour trying to get the team I wanted it was all worth it in the end.
Gates to infinity possibly has be one of the worst mistakes Update:GTI isnt overall bad just a bit of a few things i didn't like. Super Mystery dungeon did well but doesn't top EOS.
+WizardIF It was a great game with a great story, in its own right. They just removed a few too many things, and it fell short of its predecessors in several ways. But that's not a "mistake" so much as poor execution of a good idea. I mean, no quiz was really sad, as was too few player options. But I didn't exactly miss starving in every long dungeon, nor am I exactly thrilled about Hunger returning in SMD. There was NO excuse to have no gender option given the data for it did exist in the game. They thankfully did a good job avoiding pronouns for the player 99% of the time but there are about two times a "he/him" slips, and PIKACHU'S TAIL drove me crazy while playing. But the story, while too short, was interesting and well-written, twisting the usual mechanic with the reveal that there were lots of humans out in the world. And the subversion of the usual "dark and ghost = bad" stereotype was beautifully executed. The cast was a little small. But the characters we did get were largely fun and memorable. Putting a Dunsparce in the spotlight was great. Hydreigon was amazing. In one of the few good post-game bits, Meloetta was surprisingly fantastic. Overall, plenty to criticize, but far from the worst game ever.

When we noticed the mess that we made catching him it was too late to do something.
The story was amazing...I've never in my life played a game that made me cry so much. Your partner really feels like your friend and you really care for them.
