Brooks Glycerin 21

The Brooks Glycerin 21 is a good max-cushioned trainer with a supportive, deeply cushioned ride that's best suited to slow running. It doesn't have a very lively ride but it feels luxurious and has plush landings. The improved version 21 has a more comfortable but warmer knitted upper with a wider toe box. It has a softer, more cushioned ride than its predecessor due to 2 mm extra stack height.

Thanks for the quality video yet again. If the Glycerine 21 isn't as reactive as you suggest, which Brooks model would you suggest provides a cushioned ride but provides sufficient bounce for quicker runs?

I have Glycerin 17. Just great shoes. The best I ever had.

Brooks shoes can do the job but doesn't have that pop or spring that I like in a running shoe. Having said that they are usually better made than other brands. More durable.

Hope the Glycerin 21 would not disappoint me .. I stay away from Brooks after a bad experience with GTS 15 .. stiff and and worn out easily after 7 km run

I'm so disappointed with the 21s as the top of the shoe where the laces are were digging into my feet and it was very uncomfortable. I returned them and went a half size larger and it didn't help. Super bummed because I absolutely love the 20s as they are crazy comfortable. I also noticed that the 21s mess is not as breathable. So unfortunate

It’s very bland. It softens somewhat with more miles but compared to many brands, brooks shoes are uninspiring to me.

I have only done 1 run in Glycerin 20 and I don't feel the pop but at the same time, I had no pain after the run and felt good. I was able to push to get about 7:30 min per mile and see if I can push it even more. I would love to hear your feedback.
