It's nearly impossible to find any good thermostats today. I recently had to replace my oil cooler and changed my tstst at the same time. I'm on my 5th tstat and they all fail within a month. Had three Stant 48798 tstats and on my third Murray 41680. Their all made by Motorad, in Israel
Mine that was installed by HHP failed 2x in a year. With this last one destroying my water pump $700. So I researched the part and it’s a rebranded Motorad both from HHP and MishiMoto. I’ve went with the Durolast 416180 and drilled a 7/16” hole up top so if it fails at least it’ll still get coolant into the engine.

Dam I didn’t know that 😯 so far this one has been running fine but hopefully there’s no issues with it
