Volk is the featherweight goat, he beat Aldo when Jose was 30
Incorrect, he beat him when he was 32. However, it was still a great win for Volk. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people thinking Volk is the featherweight goat, but Aldo was able to run that division for a longer period of time whilst still fighting elite opposition

Silva was a black belt in judo and a 3rd degree black belt in BJJ in brazil! His grappling is elite as it gets. Chapel only took Silva down cause of a rib injury + silva submitted Dan Henderson.

Mate, Aldo was undefeated for 10 years, with a 18 fight winning streak and was beating the who's who of the featherweight division. Volk is 2nd for me, 3 wins over Max is insane. However, Aldo will remain number one.

Overall GSP has more title wins, defeated better competition, won more consecutive rounds, and was able to move up in weight and capture another belt against elite competition. Sorry but GSP is better than DJ.

@@soobi373 title defenses against who exactly...? He fought in a weak division. Besides, more TITLE WINS means more than TITLE DEFENSES... GSP has more belts and more hardware than DJ does. Also was a 2 weight champ, who dominated longer and fought better competition. GSP is the absolute GOAT. numbers and stats prove this.

Legit the only problem with dj vs jones goat debate is that all of jones fights were against legends that had allready proved em self, dj fought mostly unknown fighters who were ofc great, but none of em were names like shogun, dc, rampage or legit any of the other guys that jones fought in his first 2 title reigns.

@@ssglbc1875 nah. GSP fought in a better division against more champions without testing hot for steroids. His resume is more decorated and less controversial. For the record Jon only has 1 win against DC he popped hot for PEDs in the 2nd fight. And GSP won a UD against an obviously juiced up Hendricks.

Idk man, Khabib was a dominant champion that retired undefeated after fighting as many good opponents as the UFC was willing to give him, Islam hasn’t defended his belt against any lightweights and Charles crumbles when an aggressive wrestler is put against him.
He has a similar resumue to Charles at LW but with no losses. But Islams wins over Charles Volk and arman are more elite than lhabib Connor Justin and Dustin

I believe Islam's tight striking and equally quality grappling vs. Khabib's sloppy striking and take down threat would be enough to get the dub against the Lightweight "Goat." Undefeated is good, but have more legacy fights.
