@@stephaniehickshomon oh my gosh all these videos are just making me so emotional , we went to new york from montreal in 2012 to see her and it was cancelled because of hurricane sandy and then when it was rescheduled, my cousin died and so we missed her twice in small venues. she will likely never play here in montreal. i did a cover of this song - my absolute favourite song
I’m going next week to her solo show. Saw her once at MSG and then with Wynonna. Her writing is so insanely brilliant. It challenges my thinking too and 🩷 it.
Love her. I listened to her book on Audible. She does an amazing job reading it and telling her story. She also sings songs that were written about the time she is talking about in her life.
