I loved this Harley Quinn version a lot more than the others where she is just reduced to being lovesick with Joker - it's nauseating. Here however, Tell Tale did an amazing job - she was sometimes so unpredictable that she was scary! And on top of that Joker being lovesick had a reason as Harley became the impetus for him having his character arch and becoming The Joker unlike the lovesick Harley in other versions which is a one-dimensional character and a one track mind. Good job Tell Tale!

I like her as a badass femme' fatale...she just isn't *HARLEY* to me. That being said, I totally get she was like this to further John's story arc, so just needed to fill the role of a "female Joker". Nothing more, nothing less. Probably my biggest gripe with this version is they made her SO power-mad and thuggish I really don't buy the traditional Joker-Harley dynamic we see in episode 5. Sure, she's still feisty, but why is she suddenly taking orders from John as if *he's* the number one? Doesn't gel with her character in previous episodes.
She probably wanted to make John/Joker feel as if he was in power, whereas in reality she was handling most of the shit, while John was focused on just hurting Bruce.
the idea of a role reversal between Joker and Harley is very weird and... I'm into it. it's unique. brave even. not something I'd do but I would absolutely encourage writers try outside the box refreshing ideas like this more in the future.

This harley is the harley quinn that would be put in a normal society where she is still crazy but fits in a modern world it would honesty work if she was put in a Heath Ledger Joker movie if he was still alive.

It’s not a matter of canon or non-canon. They are different continuities. Happens in the comics or Harley Quinn animated series has no bearing in the telltale series or vice versa. At this point poison ivy doesn’t even exist in the telltale continuity (though that can always change if the new telltale decides to do season 3).
