Hello @monicawallek2992 🥰 this FANTASTIC advice! I didn't think to massage the affected area! The incision is still healing, at this point, so I'm wondering when it will be okay to "treat" it? It's still a little numb, and I'm being super gentle while cleaning it. I do sit at an ergonomic desk, and my desk chair has lumbar support, too. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us! So helpful and insightful 🙏 and thank you so much for watching! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️🍁🥰🙏
@@CatsEyeBeauty I would ask your team at at my next office appointment or at PT. I don't remember the criteria for mine, since it was after another anesthesia repair for something else. I could feel some areas in varying degrees. Because of my hands, they had me gently run a dry washcloth on that side. Later, the two finger hand massaging was supervised for sensitivity by PT first and for fine tuning. I had to feel enough to not crush useful things below the incision. I remember circles and vertically. I suspect it depended on what senses and my finger control came back and when. Be patient. (I feel that eye roll, I did it every time they told me.) (my hands were the reason they knew I needed immediate neck surgery after my fall. OT was rebuilding my hand, wrist and finer senses while PT worked on untangling my back, shoulders, neck and head carefully. Yes, I was a spicy hot mess with two different procedures in the same area.) Approaching 2 years post-op, I am using some of the Kbeauty niacinamide essence/serum on my scar and mineral sunscreen. The scar is there, but fading into a new crease and not nearly as "in your face" as it was last year. So many thyroid people saw my scar.
Hello, my dear friend @wendybrown3502 🥰 how are you?! Awww, thank you so much! 🙏 You are so kind! Thank you so much for your continued love and prayers! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️ 🍁 🥰 🙏
So glad your recovery is going well! It's definitely important to listen to your body. I had to learn that as well, as someone with chronic illness who always tries to do more than I should. Your look came out beautiful, you totally rock that red lip! You're looking strong and healthy just in general, too. 😊💜
Thank you so much, my beautiful friend @ElenaV.1314 🥰 that is the biggest lesson I've learned from this journey. Listen to your body! We get so caught up with taking care of everyone else but ourselves! Thank you so much for watching, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏❤️🍁🥰
I am so happy you are healing well Cat! I know you are glad to get those bandages off. Love the earrings and necklace. Best of luck with your continued recovery!
Awwww, thank you so much, my dear friend 🥰 @karenk1459 🙏 I'm so relieved to have my bandages off, too! Whew! I'm truly enjoying the jewelry, especially the necklace! Thank you so much for watching, my sweet friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️ 🍁 🥰 🙏
Hi Cat! Just stumbled across this video & glad I ‘stopped by’ 😏 because it’s like hanging out with one of my friends! And we’re the same age! 👏🏼 Glad to see that you’re recovering well! I found this on a hospital website about minimizing scarring: Silicone is recommended for minimizing hypertrophic scarring (thick pink scars). Silicone sheets or tape, found in the bandage or first aid section of many stores, can be cut to fit the scar, Remove the silicone before showering and reapply over the scar after washing. Hope that helps! Looking forward to more videos from you!
Hello @Laurenski67 ✨️ so nice to meet you! I'm so glad you stopped by, too! 🥰 I have heard of those silicone patches! The doctor said in three months, my incision will be "nearly gone" by then, but I know my skin, lol! I remember about 20 years ago, I had fallen and skinned my knee really bad, and I used some sort of silicone pad for it to fade! It worked! Thank you so much for suggesting this! I hope you have an amazing weekend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️🍁🥰✨️
Awwww, thank you so much, my dear friend @crucitasquillace5072 ❤️ yes! A definite wake-up call! And family is so important ❤️ Thank you so much for watching, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏🥰🍁❤️
Hi Cat! 🙋♀️ you look great! I'm glad to hear you're healing well and feeling better each day 🤗 ... I loved both looks and also the jewelry, thnx for the discount code... take care my beautiful friend, sending big hug your way 💜🌹💐
Hello, my beautiful friend 🥰 @neneg.4264 💗 how are you?! Awww, thank you! You are so kind! I love the jewelry! Isn't it beautiful? I hope you are doing well, my sweet friend! Sending hugs to you! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️ 🍁 🥰 🙏

OMG Cat, what you've been through! So glad you are slowly coming out the other side. And you look stunning! And the earrings are very pretty. Hope you found some TV to watch - if Rivals comes your way (it's on Disney + here in the UK) it's hilarious - what we Brits call a bonkbuster😉❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awwww, thank you so much, my beautiful friend @beautybydez 🥰 and yes, finally recovering from surgery and feeling so much better! I'm always on the lookout for a fun series to watch! I'll see if Rivals is available in the States! Thank you so much for suggesting this! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️🍁🥰🙏
I'm so happy you're feeling better day by day, Cat. You look good and refreshed even before applying your makeup. Hopefully you are sleeping better also. Speaking of sitting for long hours; it's especially damaging for the circulation; your heart suffers most. That's great you get up to move around every hour. I wasn't aware you were a ballerina. I see it though!❤
Hello, my dear friend 🥰 @lauracuevas8948 💕 oh my goodness, thank you! I am feeling so much better! And thankfully, sleeping so much better, too! Overall, I'm listening to my body and getting up every hour so I can stretch! It's definitely an advantage working from home! Thank you so much for watching, my sweet friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🍁 🙏 ❤️ 🥰
Gorgeous look Cat! And yes, a red lip exudes confidence! 💋 When I had spinal fusion surgery a few years ago, it took everything out of me. Along with exhaustion, all of my muscles were weakened and felt like they weighed a ton just to move around normally. Major surgery with general anesthesia really takes a lot out of your body. It takes days to leave your system. I also talked with my PT about the type of exercises I did pre-surgery because now afterwards, most of them had to be modified or eliminated altogether. Yoga for the most part is out...too much bending and twisting. But I can still do Pilates, modifying some of the movements to prevent injury. For healing the scar, Dr. Dray has videos on how to deal with them and she is a fan of the silicone patches. Glad to see how well you are healing and no longer in pain. 🥰
Hello, my dear friend 🥰 @helpfulnatural 💕 oh my goodness, yes! The general anesthesia really did a number on me! I think that was the worst part! I used to do yoga, and Pilates would be a good option! Several people have mentioned the silicone patches, so I will definitely check it out! I love Dr. Dray! Thank you so much for sharing your valuable input, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🍁🙏❤️🥰
Good morning Cat. How exciting to get the bandages off. You look and sound marvelous! With each c spine surgery my voice got lower and breathier. I'm so glad your arm and hand pain is gone, that's the best. I'm almost 59, yes, I feel 20, but also strangely 70! 😂. Be well dear one.
Good morning, my dear friend @minnauyeda7339 🥰 omg, really? Your voice got lower and breathier?! That sounds cool! I think my voice is somewhat "deep" when I sang in community theater a long time ago, the director said that I was a second soprano? I always wanted to sing the high notes, but could never hit them 😁 Singing is definitely not my specialty 😅 I wonder if my voice will change like yours?! I guess we'll find out! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, very fascinating! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏🍁❤️🥰
Hi Cat, the first thing I noticed besides your pretty face were your earrings! Love them! Same with the necklace. Your look is gorgeous and it's good to see you making healing progress. I still have scars from surgical areas and they go thru stages tho nothing has ever fully erased mine. I did use silicone based products, (and gentle massage) which are supposed to be the best treatment, and they do work to some degree. Ask your doctor to recomend the best one on the market because there are a number of companys that make a topical silicone scar treatment that you apply like a cream and I found that very easy to use. Always so nice to see you here on your channel 🧚♀💜
Hello, my dear friend @MissRain-xt2vj 🥰 how are you?! Omg, I love the earrings and necklace! They're becoming my favorite! ❤️ And, yes! I've heard that massaging the scar is important, and silicone patches are helpful, too! I haven't heard about a silicone cream, so I will check with my doctor about this! Thank you so much for suggesting this! 🙏 you have always been so kind! I hope you have a wonderful week, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️ 🍁 🥰 🙏
You’re looking great Cat!! The scar is pretty cool. Think of all the stories you can come up with lol. I’m still on the hunt for those shadow sticks. They’re pretty popular right now. The jewelry is really pretty. I love the earrings!!
Awwww, thank you so much, my dear friend, @cathymaas2406 🥰 Matt is calling me "Scar" 😅 but I told him that I prefer Scarlet 🤣 the Le Shadow sticks are awesome! And yes! The earrings are beautiful! Thank you so much for watching, my sweet friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️ 🍁 🥰 🙏

My granddaughter was bitten by a dog under her eye she had surgery done, and her doctor suggested she use this cream, Biocorneum advanced scar treatment, by sientra, 2 times a day. I can't even notice the scar under her eye anymore , kinda pricey but definitely works,
Oh my goodness! @michellecappiello6274 🙏 you're poor granddaughter! Thank goodness she's healed up! I can't imagine how scary that was for her! Thank you so much for suggesting this! I truly appreciate it! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏❤️🥰🍁
Hi Cat, so sorry what you’re going through my friend 🤗 I to am having spinal issues but mine is DI joints. I woo you fast healing my sweet friend ❤️🤗 Lea
Hello, my lovely friend @BeautyOver70WithLea 🥰 how are you?! Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this! Have you had it checked out? My issue came on fast! I thought it was just a pinched nerve, but it was much worse than anticipated. Thankfully, I was able to get surgery 🙏 Sending hugs to you, my beautiful friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ ❤️ 🍁 🥰 🙏
Have you tried a standing desk? I go back & forth between standing & sitting. Some people even use a treadmill while they're working. I'm not coordinated enough for that 😂. I'm so glad you're doing well. You look healthy & gorgeous! ❤ PS, I love that necklace!
Hello @teri2466 ❤️ I haven't tried a standing desk, or the treadmill while working, I'm not that coordinated either 😁 but, I may have to think of options to stay more active while I work! Thank you so much for watching, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏🥰🍁❤️
Yikes! Glad you are healing well and feeling ok❤ I haven't watched makeup videos for a while. Crochet instead😊. I act like I'm in high school some times😂 I graduated in '89. I am the only full time employee, besides the doctor, at our Podiatry clinic. I do all the billing, etc and sit all day, too. Talk about acting like high schoolers, the doctor I work for and I went to school together since 2nd grade and we are nuts still
Awwww, thank you so much, my beautiful friend 🥰 @marianeculek3261 💕 no worries! I love to crochet and knit! I find it so relaxing! How cool that you work with a dear friend since the 2nd grade! ❤️ Thank you so much for watching, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏 🥰 🍁 💕 happy crocheting! 😊
Hi Cat, so so Glad that Your feeling much better and Healing soo well. I’ve had numerous Spinal Surgeries and whew, they are the worst. Also had to have Rt. Total Hip replacement ( all due to a spinal, pelvic floor, hip injury). I used Vit. E capsules and would poke a needle into it and rub the oil on my scars. Also, Palmers has an amazing scar cream that works great. My bestie swears by the Palmers Scar Cream better than Vit E Oil. So, did they have to put a plate and or screws and rods where they removed the disc? Regardless, so glad that you got a good 4 wk post op report from your surgeon. I pray that you Never have to Have a Hip Replacement as oh my heart, they are rough. But we just persevere thru don’t we. When will you be going to your natural hair color in front? I miss it. 😢😊. Anyhoo, your makeup looked so pretty. Can you believe I’ve been applying makeup for 4 days straight anddd eye shadows. 😮. It does make us feel better for sure. Much love, prayers and thoughts as you continue to recover. Please, don’t over do.
Hello, my dear friend @karlaharvey2623 🥰 from my understanding, the doctor removed 2 of my discs and replaced them. He was happy to see my improvement! As far as a hip replacement, I've heard that they can be difficult! I can't imagine! As far as my hair?! 😁 I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and although I love my natural hair color, it's difficult to upkeep because it's so dark, but I'm thinking about doing something different, but not too crazy 🙃 I almost feel like after this surgery, do a makeover 😁 Thank you so much for watching, my beautiful friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏🍁❤️🥰
Hi Cat…So pleased you are healing well and the pain you were experiencing is gone. You are looking beautiful. I heard the same about vitamin E being good for scars and to purchase the liquid gel capsules. Poke a hole into the capsule and squeeze out the vitamin E to apply to the scar. I heard this ages ago and I wonder if this truly does work?? Take good care of yourself and Happy Halloween 🎃👻🇨🇦🍁
Hello, my dear friend @janettanaka2894 🥰 yes! I've heard about the vitamin E capsules to use on scars! Thank goodness there are so many options! I'm hoping the color will fade, but I'll definitely try some sort of skincare once it heals. Thank you so much for watching, my dear friend! We had a quiet Halloween 🎃 and lots of leftover candy! Sending hugs to you in Canada 🇨🇦 Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🙏🍁❤️🥰
Awwww, thank you so much, my dear @princeeverlove 🥰 it's been quite the journey, but I'm thankful for no longer being in pain. 🙏 Thank you so much for your continued love and support, my dear friend! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🐈⬛🥰🍷🍁

Kat some people find this works "Forces of Nature - Scar" if used consistantly for keloid
Awesome! @lupeluis7041 👍 I'll definitely check it out! Thank you so much for watching and suggesting this! Much love, Cat xoxo ✨️ 🍁❤️🙏🥰
😁 I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and although I love my natural hair color, it's difficult to upkeep because it's so dark, but I'm thinking about doing something different, but not too crazy 🙃 I almost feel like after this surgery, do a makeover 😁
Thank you so much for watching, my beautiful friend!

Hi Cat! Just stumbled across this video & glad I ‘stopped by’ 😏 because it’s like hanging out with one of my friends! And we’re the same age! 👏🏼
Glad to see that you’re recovering well!
