I feel like the Swap Sans problem is the same as the Papyrus problem They were made as strong figures who can actually put up a fight and aren't all that crazy childish, they're just goofy but they know when to get real But the community took way too seriously the "innocent" part of their character (which isn't even a big part of their personality) and turned them into naive unaware kids that say things like "killing is very bad!", "I would never hurt anyone!" Oh, yeah, and the spaghetti obsession.
not to mention they also turn into yanderes when their love interest interacts with someone, or anyone 'disrespects' their love interest in *any* way possible.

I always imagined fell to be a blitzkrieg. Attacks witha fuckload of attacks in one turn but can't sustain fights for as long as the vanilla classic sans.
The easiest way to think of it is that canonically, Blue is exactly like the original Papyrus, but with a few tweaks, like tacos instead of spaghetti, and blue instead of red/orange (whichever color you associate him with more)
i think of this like papyrus in sans body but likes giving taco to their friends, makes like just 3 puns, a lil less energetic than classic pap but still energetic, less tanky for exchange of dodge on smaller scale, learned weak blasters and making a soul blue also i prefer red scarf

Well way back when Undertale came out someone got the idea to swap them so he did, and he made a social media page for it and stuff, the original swap sans was very different from "blueberry" and after the writer saw how the fanbase turned swap sans into "bLuEbErRy" he disappeared. Same case with Underfells writer although I don't think he disappeared like Underswaps writer, but I'm pretty sure they have to have seen what the fanbase has done to Underfell sans. unpopular opinion: both versions are valid and shouldn't be hated on. they're all just aus, people can have their own interpretations of him without being told which one is better. swap is probably my favorite utmv character and i'll adore him either way, diversity is what makes fandom so fun, after all!

Papyrus is cute and "protect ar all costs". Papyrus is literally an innocent sunshine who IS obnoxious. I mean. He constantly dreams on having friends and "being popular" when he knows he doesn't have any. Hence he gets SO excited when he becomes friends with a human that he can't even kill them. Bro swap sans is literally the same as papyrus just in sans body. He gets overly excited when meeting (or being friends with) the human, he says "MWEHEHE" like how an obnoxious character would, or like how papyrus would. Bro I see swap sans as the way he is, which is cuter than papyrus considering that he's in sans smok body but with papyrus' energetic and friendly personality. I don't fvcking understand why people would subordinate him into a lesser, non-interesting version of him where he doesn't act like appayrus at all ('canon' swap sans, whatever the fvck that means.)
