Finally someone who made one with adobe
I really need help, im making UK liveries so how would i do the battenberg design on it?
i use photoshop currently, but idk which one should i be using. also, i'm finding it hard to line up one side with another, especially with the FD trucks. any tips?
I would use the ruler and create guidelines that align with the pixels of the sides.
@@MatthiasTHM i've tried that but it's impossible with the way er;lc make their templates. some of them are different sizes, or don't show the whole side. for example, the charger. the left side is like double the size of the right.
another thing to mention is that the 2013 explorer's template doesn't even match up with the car. the template is slightly bigger, and for all sides.
Size them up to be the same length and height as the other one.
Yes, I'm aware the 2013 templates are messed up. However, there is nothing I can do about it to fix them. It's a PRC issue.

If your school provides Adobe Illustrator, then yes. It should work.

why does my livery upload big? like it looks good when editing, but once I upload it, the dimensions are off.
Did you ensure you created invisible boxes to use that?
why does it says for me that Decal uploads must be smaller than 8000x8000 and will be downsized if larger than 1024x1024. I don't understand can u help?
You can upload it through Roblox Studio. I will need to make a video to fix that.

@@Icecreamplayz_YT Not when you are just doing text. If you select text and export it, it will take up whatever side you place it on.

what other software is there that dosent require this stuff? yet is easy to use

Is that Curve feature in photoshop as well or only in Illustrator?
I cannot remember and I’m not sure.
Yeah I make liveries for FiveM and that feature would make it so much easier to make certain designs.
I need to get involved with more of those communities. I’m slowly moving away from ROBLOX. Any suggestions?
@MatthiasTHM well I have only been a actual developer for a community for around a year now so idk the best way, but the way I did it is just finding a RP community that's in need of livery devs or you could possibly try to find a Developer that needs livery developers.
yes, when you make a path you can curve it just like in the video. if you already have a shape down you can use the warp feature
The thing to upload the assets to get the code doesn't work
You need to make sure your measurements are now in Pixels, and the template cannot be bigger than 8000 pixels if you want to upload it to ROBLOX Create.
I uploaded mine directly through ROBLOX Studio because it overrides the requirements.

Adobe Illustrator is a subscription based software. You will either need to pay for it or use an account (e.g.: school, work, etc.) that the service is provided for you.

The vehicle color can be changed in game when adding your livery to ER:LC.
