Love the concept but this needs to not require two ports to plug in. My laptop only has one usbc port which is used for my power cord. The other usb 2.o is for my wireless mouse which leaves one other usb 2.0. The laptop is maybe 1.5 years old provided by the company I work for. We don't get to choose, they're just issued to us. I'd get this in a heartbeat if these didn't take up two ports. I don't want to have to also carry a hub around or some other work around. Wouldn't it be amazing if magsafe could work for these to connect wirelessly to the laptop and be powered via pass through current.
I’m glad Facebook recommended me this. I’ve been waiting for a product like this. Never liked those other ones cause I wasn’t trying to stick crap to my laptop.
Dope baseline product. You guys need higher peak brightness, and a better looking screen (retina maybe?). Bonus: higher refresh rate option. Also, your website doesn’t mention the type of panel it is that I can find. IPS?
always love to see another entry in the project valerie dream I'm not convinced that the attachment mechanisms will fix issues on previous tries (never heard that was an issue), but I will wait excitedly for reviews of production samples nonetheless
My concern with portable monitors lies in their true portability. I bought the SideTrak monitors and am frustrated by how inconvenient it is to fit both screens into my work bag. Smaller screens don't necessarily equate to easy portability. Additionally, the SideTrak monitors are very sensitive, and the packaging they offer doesn't effectively convey the best way to pack the two monitors conveniently. I'm intrigued to find out how the Xebec Snap dual monitors compare to SideTrak in terms of portability and packaging.
Looks like a really good idea but I feel like the laptops screen wouldn’t be able to constantly hold the weight of additional monitors without the hinges losing integrity, and loosening. If I wasn’t concerned for this it would be perfect lol
