I think Shaper's Ripples has been the most emotional chapter in PGR since the Surviving Lucem and Her Last Bow. But SOMEHOW, because of Kuro and their emotional writing, Shaper's Ripples made the both of those look TAME. I don't usually get emotional over video games, but PGR is one of those amazing exceptions that have me crying my fucking eyes out with characters such as Lucia. Furthermore, I never thought I'd be attracted to fictional characters. Yet... Lucia seems more than meets the eye. The first time we meet her in PGR, she's a soldier. A construct. Then, as we progress further, we get closer. After this comes Kowloong... then, we get closer once again. Once we reach the peak, it all comes crashing down full circle. A simple kiss or a hug. That's all it takes... The truth is... in PGR, nothing lasts forever. At least, that's what they say. But with Lucia? The bond is eternal. Finally, I would like to vow something. I vow to you this. I vow to bring you back. I will not break this vow. I will follow up on it. No matter what it takes. No matter how long it takes. No matter how far I may be. I promise you. I will bring you back. And Rapi was really the main girl. Trust us, she'll come back. This story is not the type to really do it.
One thing that doesn't get appreciated enough in this song - There is hardly any repetitive melodies in each section (verse, chorus, bridge etc.) of the song. Every phrase feels fresh. At first I didn't know why I loved this song the first time I heard it - why it's so memorable. I found the answer and this is it. Songs nowadays are so blatantly lacking in creativity and effort that this song is just mesmerizing to listen to because you could feel the love and effort that went into it. It is the polar opposite to all the factory-produced crap we have on the mainstream market and radio.

its a bit hard and I think it you guys should read itself for more clear thing, but yeah in short, she and skk had timeskip in tower as 30 years and when escaped it out, everything just a ruined world,... a lot thing happened outside the tower, in the end, Lucia died in skk hand cause of lacking energy and being absolutely damaged a lot when fighting Vonnegut, After all there is only skk lonely in the world (there still Refugees in ARU).
tl dr version, time shenanigans resulting in dozen(maybe even hundreds) years of exertion, injuries, trauma, ptsd, even deaths, that eventually catch up to her in a singular moment. Think of having a kind of huuuge "life force" and mental fortitude debt, that you have to eventually pay in entirety, in an instant. She was fine in one second, her frame and core gets obliterated the second later, resulting in her barely holding on, getting weaker over several days until she couldn't go on anymore. Kuro nailed the feeling of seeing your loved one slowly pass away because of some incurable disease. Beneath, a loooonger version, wall of text warning. A reaaaly long one. All the story focuses in and around of The tower, where times flows differently. Babylonia for bunch of reasons require entrance to the Tower. Lucias new frame have so called Omega Core, which gives her few punishing virus related buffs. One of those being seemingly unlimited endurance. She is also the one in possesion of "key", something that allows them to enter Tower and more importantly- rewind time if something goes terribly wrong. They have 76 such saves. Right from the getgo of chapter1, its revealed they already burned through 74. Rewinding time affects both Lucia and cmdr negatively(headaches, memory loss, confusion), but it appers it affects Lucia the least, "just her mind". Later on it turns out, she remembers all those previous tires, and more importantly, all of cmdr deaths- after 1st time, she wasnt able to stop crying, hence she decided to do everything to save him. Then it happened bunch of times after that, again. Main antognist is Cradle, as the new host of Agent 0 persona. Von negut(nugget) is initially presented as another enemy, but towards the end we see he is more of a neutral side of the conflict, and his goals somewhat align with those of Babylonia/Cmdr(secure and stabilize tower), he is mainly supporting character for this story, final fight stems from the disaagreement how to fix the Tower, Nugget needed cmdr to sacrifice himself(to which cmdr agreed), Lucia refused to let cmdr die, hence several instances of timelines where they fought(sometimes Nugget died, sometimes Lucia). At one point, Lucia is sent with Towers Core 30years into the past to the exact place where PV first appeared. Plan is, she is "spawn camping" it at a rift, so the rest can figure a way how to fix and secure Tower in the future. But 30years of constant fighting drains on her despite her newest frame, yet she keeps on fighting- because that's what she promised to cmdr and the rest of her friends in her heart. Then, she gets sent to "misty realm", something of an empty void realm, where she was alone. Cradle also was sent there, it's just you cant find or interact with anyone there. Misty realm is also part of Nuggets origin story, as well have omse kind of ties to PV(hence, she got transported there while fighting PV rift creatures). All we know is that at some point she stopped counting years how long she was there, make of it what you will. She was given special device from nugget, that she can use to travel in time/between realms one more time, but second use will do uknown damage to her. Eventually Nugget and cmdr come to agreement what to do(bring back core and all the data they gathered to their point of insertion, so mankind can figure out the solution), they bring Lucia back with the core. This allows Cradle to come back. Stuff happens, Lucia fights and defeats Cradle with help of Cmdr, Nugget and some other person. But in the process, the core has been consumed by Nuggets ally. Nugget decides he dont want to risk the other idea, tries to force cmdr to sacrifice himself, Lucia refuses. At several points across chapters, Lucia tells cmdr they have to find the way "with the least amount of losses" and she seems to know one. Anyway, the second boss battle of the story happens- right after she fought Cradle. She "wins", nugget is still alive, just wounded and simply tired(earlier we learn that he was constantly trying to fix the mess right from the start of the PV outbreak, and add to that multiple reruns) and decides to go with cmdr idea- let the duo go back to their time, while he and his ally stabilize the collapsing tower, waiting for the cmdr to come back with solution/fix. As a sidenote, during Lucias combat parts from the gameplay side of view, she is unable to die- if you get "killed" during fight, she takes a knee, but after few seconds she stands up with full HP again. Aside from a hidden timer timeout that Kuro put in, you just cant lose your fights. Lucia and cmdr escape the crumbling tower. Cmdr feels suddenly super weak and tired. Looks at Lucia. In an instant, Lucias frame breaks down similar like the tower was breaking, her omega core melts down and evaporates before cmdr is able to react. Turns out, because of the wonky time flow in the tower, all the damage, deaths, strain and trauma she endured with seemingly no ill effects- was only postponed for her, and then hit her all at the same time after she leaves the tower. So all the 76 resets, 30years fighting against hordes at the rift in the past, uknown amount of years in the mist realm, used nuggets device more than once to get out of mist realm, then cradle fight, then nugget fight- everything as a continuos event for her. Shes dying, they both know it. During the epilogue part, you learn what happened in those 30years the duo wass away. They link up with some remnants of humanity on earth. They try to think of a way to fix lucia- they cant. They could travel to arctic regions because thats humanitys last refuge- road is too long, she wont make it. They try to find Lucias Plume frame Asimove left behind for them, because it was emergency plan- it's nowhere to be found, only the special black coating that was meant for Lucia for celebration when they come back from their mission(its the one from promo materials you might have seen). At 5am they realize they have final hours together. She dons the coating to cover here damaged frame. , Questioned, barely holding on to life Lucia admits that she knew she would end up that way- that's the "least amount of losses" way she meant throughout the story, but chose to not explain to cmdr. She was just hoping all along the way, right to the end, that some miracle would happen. She apologizes that she is leaving him alone like that, but is still hoping, that somehow, sometime they will meet again. Cmdr in his thoughts sort of panicly is trying to analyze what could have been done differently to avoid this outcome, but finds no asnwer. They say their goodbyes. There are apparently 4 slightly diffrent ending scenes depending what dialogue options you take, but the canon one seems to be the one where they confess their feelings to each other and kiss. She says she really want to keep goin. Cmdr starts talking about diffrent things that they will do in the future together, to which Lucia only faintly hmms and yeahs, and eventually stops responding... She dies literally at dawn(what her 2nd frame was called again?), in cmdr arms. Cmdr breaks down, holding her, sings out of tune "froggy song" that Lucia liked. He thinks what he has to do to fix this mess- partly because that was his actual mission for humanitys sake, partly because he promised that to nugget(they grew to respect each other), partly because, well, you guess why. The end(of this story)(for now)

@@ejiridzi yeah, it puts into perspective- everyone feels bad when cmdr cries at the end, but everyone forgets Lucia went through dozen similar reversed situations, plus was missing him for 30years, then however long she was stuck in mist realm. It's no wonder when she came back she was determined to save him, no matter the cost. (somewhere in chapter 3 there is a scene where they realize they are both uncompromising when it comes to the safety of the other)
Character called Chaos, emerged from the "egg" that Lamia took from Cthylla in her S rank frame story. Sort of a puppet/incomplete construct, sort of a clone of Cthylla, Commandant and Lucia(thats why some call her "your daughter", as in yours and Lucias). Intended to be new host for Agent 0 under the guide of Von Negut. She is part supporting character in this story, part of a solution to the problem presented in the story.

Kuro nailed the feeling of seeing your loved one slowly pass away because of some incurable disease. Beneath, a loooonger version, wall of text warning. A reaaaly long one.
All the story focuses in and around of The tower, where times flows differently. Babylonia for bunch of reasons require entrance to the Tower.
Lucias new frame have so called Omega Core, which gives her few punishing virus related buffs. One of those being seemingly unlimited endurance. She is also the one in possesion of "key", something that allows them to enter Tower and more importantly- rewind time if something goes terribly wrong. They have 76 such saves.
Right from the getgo of chapter1, its revealed they already burned through 74.
Rewinding time affects both Lucia and cmdr negatively(headaches, memory loss, confusion), but it appers it affects Lucia the least, "just her mind". Later on it turns out, she remembers all those previous tires, and more importantly, all of cmdr deaths- after 1st time, she wasnt able to stop crying, hence she decided to do everything to save him. Then it happened bunch of times after that, again.
Main antognist is Cradle, as the new host of Agent 0 persona. Von negut(nugget) is initially presented as another enemy, but towards the end we see he is more of a neutral side of the conflict, and his goals somewhat align with those of Babylonia/Cmdr(secure and stabilize tower), he is mainly supporting character for this story, final fight stems from the disaagreement how to fix the Tower, Nugget needed cmdr to sacrifice himself(to which cmdr agreed), Lucia refused to let cmdr die, hence several instances of timelines where they fought(sometimes Nugget died, sometimes Lucia).
At one point, Lucia is sent with Towers Core 30years into the past to the exact place where PV first appeared. Plan is, she is "spawn camping" it at a rift, so the rest can figure a way how to fix and secure Tower in the future. But 30years of constant fighting drains on her despite her newest frame, yet she keeps on fighting- because that's what she promised to cmdr and the rest of her friends in her heart. Then, she gets sent to "misty realm", something of an empty void realm, where she was alone. Cradle also was sent there, it's just you cant find or interact with anyone there. Misty realm is also part of Nuggets origin story, as well have omse kind of ties to PV(hence, she got transported there while fighting PV rift creatures).
All we know is that at some point she stopped counting years how long she was there, make of it what you will. She was given special device from nugget, that she can use to travel in time/between realms one more time, but second use will do uknown damage to her.
Eventually Nugget and cmdr come to agreement what to do(bring back core and all the data they gathered to their point of insertion, so mankind can figure out the solution), they bring Lucia back with the core. This allows Cradle to come back. Stuff happens, Lucia fights and defeats Cradle with help of Cmdr, Nugget and some other person. But in the process, the core has been consumed by Nuggets ally.
Nugget decides he dont want to risk the other idea, tries to force cmdr to sacrifice himself, Lucia refuses.
At several points across chapters, Lucia tells cmdr they have to find the way "with the least amount of losses" and she seems to know one.
Anyway, the second boss battle of the story happens- right after she fought Cradle.
She "wins", nugget is still alive, just wounded and simply tired(earlier we learn that he was constantly trying to fix the mess right from the start of the PV outbreak, and add to that multiple reruns) and decides to go with cmdr idea- let the duo go back to their time, while he and his ally stabilize the collapsing tower, waiting for the cmdr to come back with solution/fix.
As a sidenote, during Lucias combat parts from the gameplay side of view, she is unable to die- if you get "killed" during fight, she takes a knee, but after few seconds she stands up with full HP again. Aside from a hidden timer timeout that Kuro put in, you just cant lose your fights.
Lucia and cmdr escape the crumbling tower. Cmdr feels suddenly super weak and tired.
Looks at Lucia.
In an instant, Lucias frame breaks down similar like the tower was breaking, her omega core melts down and evaporates before cmdr is able to react.
Turns out, because of the wonky time flow in the tower, all the damage, deaths, strain and trauma she endured with seemingly no ill effects- was only postponed for her, and then hit her all at the same time after she leaves the tower.
So all the 76 resets, 30years fighting against hordes at the rift in the past, uknown amount of years in the mist realm, used nuggets device more than once to get out of mist realm, then cradle fight, then nugget fight- everything as a continuos event for her.
Shes dying, they both know it.
During the epilogue part, you learn what happened in those 30years the duo wass away.
They link up with some remnants of humanity on earth. They try to think of a way to fix lucia- they cant.
They could travel to arctic regions because thats humanitys last refuge- road is too long, she wont make it.
They try to find Lucias Plume frame Asimove left behind for them, because it was emergency plan- it's nowhere to be found, only the special black coating that was meant for Lucia for celebration when they come back from their mission(its the one from promo materials you might have seen).
At 5am they realize they have final hours together. She dons the coating to cover here damaged frame. ,
Questioned, barely holding on to life Lucia admits that she knew she would end up that way- that's the "least amount of losses" way she meant throughout the story, but chose to not explain to cmdr. She was just hoping all along the way, right to the end, that some miracle would happen.
She apologizes that she is leaving him alone like that, but is still hoping, that somehow, sometime they will meet again. Cmdr in his thoughts sort of panicly is trying to analyze what could have been done differently to avoid this outcome, but finds no asnwer. They say their goodbyes.
There are apparently 4 slightly diffrent ending scenes depending what dialogue options you take, but the canon one seems to be the one where they confess their feelings to each other and kiss. She says she really want to keep goin. Cmdr starts talking about diffrent things that they will do in the future together, to which Lucia only faintly hmms and yeahs, and eventually stops responding...
She dies literally at dawn(what her 2nd frame was called again?), in cmdr arms. Cmdr breaks down, holding her, sings out of tune "froggy song" that Lucia liked. He thinks what he has to do to fix this mess- partly because that was his actual mission for humanitys sake, partly because he promised that to nugget(they grew to respect each other), partly because, well, you guess why.

@@ejiridzi yeah, it puts into perspective- everyone feels bad when cmdr cries at the end, but everyone forgets Lucia went through dozen similar reversed situations, plus was missing him for 30years, then however long she was stuck in mist realm.
It's no wonder when she came back she was determined to save him, no matter the cost.
(somewhere in chapter 3 there is a scene where they realize they are both uncompromising when it comes to the safety of the other)

Character called Chaos, emerged from the "egg" that Lamia took from Cthylla in her S rank frame story.
Sort of a puppet/incomplete construct, sort of a clone of Cthylla, Commandant and Lucia(thats why some call her "your daughter", as in yours and Lucias).
Intended to be new host for Agent 0 under the guide of Von Negut. She is part supporting character in this story, part of a solution to the problem presented in the story.
i think they should hire native English speaker to sung this. The lyrics are perfect but i feel there is a need of that clarity.
