Just to share with you, SM literally started the training system in Korea's entertainment industry that's why it's not surprising that they got some of the BEST artists in K-pop. 🥰 SM training is so hard!! One of the reason also why we don't see SM trainees in any survival shows in Korea. Their trainees level are insane!! For SM they believe "Idols are made, not born" and "talent can be taught." So if you're not born talented, they just need to see some potential in you and they will do the rest for you (but ofc you need to work haaaard) 😂👏🏻

Well, SM training is quite difficult. They trained their artist really2 well. Like in Exo cases they practiced on the treadmill while singing. That’s why their voices are still stable singing live despite dancing with difficult choreography. FYI Exo sang live in all their concerts :)

"Mama" is EXO's debut song, if you haven't checked out the MV yet, you really need to. "Mama" is what introduced EXO to the public and it establishes their whole concept and storyline. And it is one of the most epic and cinematic debut MVs or all time. No group has ever been able to outdo EXO's debut. In order to even begin to understand EXO's story, you have to see BOTH of their "Mama" MVs -- EXO-K and EXO-M -- because the EXO-K version highlights the EXO-K members and each of their superpowers and roles within the group and the EXO-M version focuses on the EXO-M members. If you only watch one version, you are only getting half of the story.
Now, you also need to see the MV for '"Wolf" to see the difference between the original song and choreography and this version. The concert version of "Wolf" is the remix version, so only the beginning and end of this performance is what you will see if you watch the MV -- the middle part, where it slows down, is new, but the hype part at the beginning and end is exactly how the original song sounds. Often, the performance and choreography for their songs in concert is different than the original because they put a different twist on it every time they perform it.
The moving siluet you saw them create in their "Wolf" performance is supposed to represent the Tree of Life. Which is a visual connection between the story in "Mama" and the story in "Wolf". In the MV for "Wolf" you will see they create two separate trees (or one tree that is split in two) because the MV is when they still have 12 members. EXO-K was one half of the tree and EXO-M was the other half. However, as you saw in the concert performance, they don't split up into the two separate trees any more because now there are only 9 members. After the 3 Chinese members left, they now do everything together, so there is only one tree. This concert was in 2016 and Kris, Luhan and Tao left in 2014/2015.
How I interpret the part where Kai Xs out the tree, is that EXO are searching for the Tree of Life and Kai has eliminated that tree from their search. It's not the tree they want, so they get rid of it. In the intro to "Mama" they talk about how the Tree of Life has been split in two and each half has been hidden away. It's EXO's job to find the two halves of the Tree of Life and reunite them to restore peace in the world. So in their live performance, I think that is what they are doing. They are searching for the real Tree of Life.
Just imagine, that was only one set from a 3 to 4 hour concert where they performed 20 to 30 songs. So, if you think that performance was amazing, keep in mind, after this they only took about a 5 minute break to get ready for the next set of songs and change outfits, etc. Kpop concerts are pretty much nonstop like this for 3 to 4 hours straight.

If you got a chance to buy exo’s ticket for the concert mybe after the corona gone for good, you should bro. It was really different, likeyou will shocked for sure when you’re at the venue. We were like...is this REAL.. IS THIS REAL😂😭 you can clearly hear them singing like on point, you can hear the breathing😩and for sure im shaking😭 baekhyun and chen really and surely 💯 can hit clear beautiful highnotes 😭 kyungsoo’s run are INSANE. They’re literally sweating like crazy and still rocking the stage like no one😭😭😭 even with the tiring choreography they still cam hit beautiful run, highnotes and clean af falsettos 🥲 i cannot😭😭 suho xiumin kai sehun and chanyeol like seriously, SO STABLE. I really reallya fan of chanyeol’s rap. He got tht voice😭 and when he start singing like i got a goosebumps all the time😖.Let us just pray tht this pandemic will end soon🥺 i miss seeing them on stage😭😭😭😩
No wonder EXO holds the title of fastest sold out concert ticket by male group. In 2015 EXO'luxion sold out their concert tickets in 0.4 seconds and was a record breaking as the fastest sold out concert in the world and in 2017 EXO breaks their own record by 0.2 seconds.
The first song is MAMA, EXO's debut and the third song is Wolf released year after MAMA. The tree you talkin about in Wolf performance, that tree is can be seen from MAMA MV, known as the tree of life.

EXO always know where the camera is and they make very deliberate use of it. It's sometimes hilarious to watch.
They definitely become a character or persona on stage, often very different from their regular selves. This set contained some of their most intense songs so we got the power stares and drama. Other sets can be totally different in character, soft ballads or cute interaction with the audience or very seductive....
And they put on some of the most amazing stages for 3 hours or so at a time. It's insane and they really do give everything to create a whole experience.
Even other members are in military they all covered up d songs and choreographies so well.. They even had a concert with only 6 members... Imagine the talent they hold.
Plus EXO is awarded with best concert awards because of their dope and high quality stages. They even hold d record of the fastest concert to sold out.
