For those of you trying to avoid pork, when you get your chicken or beef sausage, check the back to see what kind of casing they use because many times they use pork casing for non-pork sausages.
Thanks for the info. I just checked my chicken sausage that I've been buying for a while now and just discovered that it's made with pork casing.
@@Amanda-md3xs You're welcome. Yes, for some reason they put pork in all kinds of things. I even heard someone say that they even use pork in some paints. I was fortunate even to find some gummy candy that uses beef gelatin but it is pricy so I can only get it as a special treat.
@hardtimeslifelessons5677 smh not paint and candy. That's ridiculous. I'm definitely gonna check the ingredients on everything I buy now.
@@Amanda-md3xs Yes, I try to do that and then stick with the items I am familiar with. Even then I still check to be sure they didn't change anything. They also put it in some capsules that they use for medicine. It's just ridiculous...
