A Stirling Mission: A Western Australian Highlining Story. As seen in the Climbing Film Tour around Australia.
Back in 2018, the Perth Slacklining Crew consisted of only a few people who had learnt enough skills in their travels and on UA-cam to start setting up some local slacklines. These were generally in old quarries and climbing crags and the rigs were cobbled together with the random bits of gear they had available.
After a few years of mid lining in these spots, a dream was sparked to establish a new highline in the Stirling Range. A few years after that they were somehow ready to give it a crack…
Follow this journey in the breathtaking Stirling Range, in southwest Western Australia as the crew attempt to navigate the difficult terrain, variable weather and limited natural anchor opportunities.
