- Experiencing India we landed in the capital New Delhi and immediately we go talk to the Indian locals in the government heart of the city around India gate. For a city with a reputation for chaos we start out in the calmest and greenest part, something relaxed for once. In the evening I want to find where prime minister Modi lives but the roads are being closed all over because the vips are coming. Walking around I get called out and stopped by someone in the dark who's well armed, turns out the police don't want me exploring this part.

Gandhi took the path of peace and Ahimsa for independence but Bose took the military way, he was a renowned diplomat in his time, he met Hitler, Stalin and Emperor of Japan during WW2 in 1940s and made strategies against British with them. Gandhi and Bose complemented each other and it was the joint effort that led to India's independance against British. Both are equally respectable and credited for Indias independance.
Request to everyone, if you dont know the history, dont say anything absurd and nonsense to a foreigner.

Cut the kids some slack, at least they are willing to talk. As for the history we only learned about Ghandi which isn't strange since I think everyone is taught the basic cliché history about countries that aren't their own. Too much history in the world. But as a teen I did find it a bit incredulous and half a lifetime later I found some more answers in actual India.

Actually Subhash Chandra Bose the actual hero who formed his army as Azaad Hind Sena and he requested everyone to fight for independence if you read his history you will be very impressed and he died in a plane crash which is a mystery till today.
