    I love this! It took a total crushing of my life for me to see that good can only come from it's source and I am NOT that source. This idea is not servile or false humility. It is simply one of the lovely truths that helped set me free! It feels right to redirect all credit and praise to Him who sends us the good stuff. :)

    This is interesting, I used to seek praise for my own "good works", but when I had a spiritual shift, after my alcoholism came to a head, I began to notice an aversion to any kind of compliments or thanks. It was like, all of a sudden I realized that nothing I had done until now, was actually "good" because it was all self-serving. And so with an altered intention now, I can do those same things, but instead of for MY own sake, for the sake of the good itself.

      It sounds like you experienced a profound transformation in perspective, Nick. What you describe is certainly a shift towards a more heavenly mindset. I'm really looking forward to hearing about your journey forward! God bless you.

      Finding value in doing good for good's own sake is the heavenly mindset. We all experience glimmers of this truth when we do random acts of kindness that are spontaneous with zero expectation of reward. I think humanity is growing into heaven and it's only a mater of time before there is a consciousness shift into doing good and loving the truth for their own sake happens.

      Nick Collette i could have written that myself, I would always do good things for the praise and to be known as the ‘good, kind sharing person’. But something shifted over the last few years where I actually don’t seek praise for good deeds, I don’t hush people who wish to say thank you but I really don’t seek it anymore. I actively try to avoid it if possible, like trying to do things quietly or anonymously if possible. And I have finally understood that I now do good purely for the sake of good. Kind for the sake of kindness. I no longer do good to save myself a seat in heaven because when I die, what will be will be. I just love the goodness in itself so much. I never paid this thought shift much mind until I watched this video and it all made sense. I have a long way to go in all aspects and I’m far from perfect, but I feel much more comfortable with myself and those around me now. I’d give the shirt off my back for anyone, but I’d try to sneak back off before anyone knew it was from me. I only feel happy to know others are happy.

    I listen to you all the time and mentioned that I was helped by two angels when I was a toddler. In your video about what happens when we die, you mentioned that angels do not concern themselves with the stuff we take so seriously, and that is the truth. When I relayed my fears to the two I saw, they looked at each other with such deep compassion for me because I could not help myself. There was no making me feel as if my needs were irrelevant. They were gone as quickly as they appeared, after getting my grandmother to come get me, so there was no time to thank them anyway. But 64 years later, I remember the two I saw as if it were yesterday. I also know from my experience that there definitely is more after we die.

    i am on a binge with your videos atm lol. so i must comment on what I see.
    I believe all good comes from the divine(energy) which lends to our earthly needs to give thanks and praise to the angelic homies that are by our side.
    as a energy guy, i know all and any energy that gives good and positivity is from the divine, never taken back or barrowed, so that also could mean that since all good comes from the lord and the lord gives us free will and choices, then only the person does the good which determines the light and love in the person.
    and praise is certainly good.
    Angel Michael is always smiling when you give thanks and praise, not cause of the praise precisely but the acknowledgement and vibrational connection you just made with them..

    I think that this perspective is the antidote to self-consciousness. I know I'm much more likely to trip up if I'm focused on myself than if I'm focused on doing my best work. It also means the difference between giving energy in a particular situation or taking energy.

    This is such a hard thing for me to integrate into my thinking. I know the agnels are the "wires" and are being willing to be that conduit for God's loves. I know I an not do good on my own and I am grateful for anything that is contributing to my ability to do anything good. Thanking the angels is completely out of gratitude.for me and I almost can't help it. I feel guilty if I DON'T! Yet they can not even stand to be thanked? Not asking they be given a medal or a parade or an end of year bonus...but how can gratitude toward those who contribute to my happiness be bad? Seems like a contradiction, but also makes sense in other ways.

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  5 років тому +3

      Yes, I know this can be tough to wrap our heads around. I'll share some thought that I shared with Jay under his comment.
      I think a simple thank you is no problem. Gratitude is always a beneficial thing. What Curtis is talking about here is the kind of focus that would be giving credit to the angels, when they know and feel so clearly that it all comes from God.
      Maybe think of an analogy of someone spending hours making a wonderful meal for someone who needs it, and then someone else delivers that meal. The delivery person is happy being able to bring this wholesome gift to someone, to be a part of getting the gift to the receiver, and knowing how helpful it will be. A simple and happy "thank you" to the delivery person is nice, and feels nice. But if the receiver starts to thank the delivery person for how wonderful the meal is, as if the delivery person was responsible for the meal itself, the delivery person would get uncomfortable, and want to direct credit to the creator of the meal.
      Angels deliver God's goodness and truth to us, and they take joy in being those delivery people or messengers. A simple thank you as part of the general gratitude is fine and lovely. But they always want us to remember where the goodness and truth and help really come from, and direct our main gratitude to the Creator. Does that make sense?
      This reminds me of a scene in the book of Revelation. An angel had been with the apostle John, guiding him through visions and bringing him information and messages. No doubt there was joy for the angel in this task, but the angel seems alarmed when John bows down to him:
      "I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”

      @@offTheLeftEye Wonderful analogy. Dropped it all into place. My son is a delivery person and likes his tips. The people are thrilled to get their favorite food, but it would be a mistake to think my son was the source of the happiness, when he was just the messenger. Same exact thing with what I do and how I feel in my counseling practice. I hold the frequency (a frequency holder 😊) in the room for others to see themselves in a truer light. That revelation and deep knowing doesn't come from me, it doesn't even come from them. We're connected, and with the right "frequency," Love enters and truths are revealed. Curtis, did Swedenborg ever visit India?! I'm making lots of correlations in this and other videos... To the point; it's actually an insult in India to say thank you or please. They feel you must not feel close to them, like you would just pick an apple from a tree, that it's all one flow. Before ever coming India, I threw some bread towards a waiting crow and as it went through the air time stood still, and I realized that no one gives anything - if its all one beautiful flow of love. If we see angels as something other to us, they will sense it and may not feel that we know this unity in an infinite glorious dance...

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  2 роки тому +1

      I do not think Swedenborg did go to India, Unified. That is interesting about not saying thank you. So, what part does Jesus Christ play in all this? Is Jesus God?

    Question. If God is all, then is God all evil and good?

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  4 роки тому

      Thanks for your question, Jeezy G. God is definitely all good, but as Swedenborg describes it, evil is the ABSENCE of good, like darkness is the absence of light. So God is not evil, it is what happens when people choose to turn away from God's principles. Make sense? Here's a short clip we did called, "Did God Create Evil?" ua-cam.com/video/IGPv4AS5eDg/v-deo.html Perhaps it will give you some thoughts about it.

      thats my question too. who created the evil beings in the astral realm (lower fourth) that people encounter in out-of-body experiences. these beings are pure evil and have many different forms ( greys, reptilians,mantis) and the gnostics called them archons, parasites that influenced humanity since the beginning. how can god supposedly be all love and light but created all these evil beings? something is wrong with this depiction of god. in hinduism god creates good AND evil

      @@cityofangels4874 fascinating! I'm not familiar with the lower fourth astral realm, or reptilian beings, etc. On this channel we share the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg, (1688-1772), a Swedish scientist and mystic who had spiritual experiences similar to NDEs or OBEs, and wrote many volumes about what he learned and saw of the afterlife!
      Swedenborg believed that the Bible had an inner meaning, and shared these ideas in his writings. What you share is fascinating but I'm afraid it's out of our realm of expertise! From the point of view of this channel, God did NOT create evil. But it's great to have a knowledge of other faiths and come to your own conclusion about what resonates with you!

      @@LadyWeaver No, I interpret this as considering it in regards to one's self - that we should strive to move away from the need to get thanks and praise in order to feel good about doing good things. In regards to others, I think sincere gratitude (without idolizing others) is a healthy and connecting thing. It helps us to see the value and preciousness that God sees in the people around us. We can recognize that all goodness comes from the Lord and at the same time connect with others by expressing gratitude that they chose to be an instrument of the Lord's goodness. Does that make sense?

    No there is a better scenario!!!
    What he is meaning and Jesus is also implying is heaven IS on earth, your sense of self does get tangled up yes but Jesus is referring to , not chipping away at the layers? But throughout your life your brain gathers all subconscious thoughts memories etc and your conscious brain says what is interprets also, so all they thought forms along with everyone else’s , mum dad and your upbringing,teachers etc so by the time your about 10yrs-13yrs you don’t have a clue who the real you is,plus your subconscious attaches feeling to your thought for example your hit by a red car when you where a child. Every time you see a red car from then on you automatically sense fear unless you retrain it to know better.
    So by removing subconscious thinking it starts to unravel the whole neural network (awakening process!) and teaches you to surrender all thought ,then ego is next,then the form which makes you realise that you are blissful ,abundant and a very powerful eternal being in the present moment, and that is heaven,then there’s gods pad upstairs . You ,me trees , that guy who annoys you,we are all divine life sparks,from the divine god source we are all connected,that ethereal cord has divine live in it,and that’s the one that is attached to the physical body the one that makes you travels all dimensions like shamen, and it is also the one present at you birth which is also known as kundalini,Chinese call it chi,life force energy,
    There is no such thing as time,made up for religious and tax purposes so no past and no future
    Buddhist 8 fold path teaches you to stay present, Jesus is saying exactly that also,the cross symbolises present (the vertical piece of wood with heaven at top) and left and right symbolise past and future , think about it? If you worry it’s always about future,past probably reminiscing so sad, if you understand they don’t exist and live only in this present moment plus there is no concept of time ,and you can pop out on an amazing magical journeys every single day for as long as you like doing anything your heart desired,wouldn’t you be thinking this is heavenly xxx 😇😇😇

      There is a spiritual realm and like all realms including our own there are laws which you can use to your advantage or not. There are spiritual practitioners that can learn some of the spiritual laws and use them as a tool and get the results they wanted. They can achieve positive results like gaining health and wealth and grow in wisdom of spiritual powers but it's empty without love. I don't want to grow without Jesus. If I was given the choice where all spiritual laws and understanding was laid bare for me but I must travel alone and be my own God, I would reject it. I don't care about my personal growth or manifestations, if it's without Jesus then I want none of it. I rather walk with Jesus and be as ignorant as a child to all things of power or manifestation, I don't care. This is why I shy away from spiritualism or of things like learning the power of manifestation through astral realms and things like that. To me it's an empty existence because it's all about me and what I can do for me even if the goals are with good intentions, it's dead works. Jesus first. I want to learn from him, let him be your teacher and you'll never be hungry and thirsty again.
      I'm a sinful person and by no means perfect so please don't misunderstand me, I'm human and I probably have more issues then you lol. I just want Jesus, and in my journey to walk with him I trip and fall all the time but I always get back up and try again.
