@boringbilal when you making a self-learning AI and just leave it by itself in environment, that changes from time to time. After some time you check on it and it makes random things. Like, absolute random. And some of them help it, some doesn't. After a lot of time it developed the strategy that works. Than environment changes and it's strategy no longer works. It develops new one and so it does all the time, simple as that. Sometimes "the fittest" species dies, because of random event. Sometimes the most strange thing survives the same event. Some mutations give species advantage, some just kinda exist, like wonderful human feature of 8th teeth. Well, we don't need them anymore, but they do exist in some people. In some they doesn't, because, well, you can live with them. After some time we will loose them, because there will be more and more people who don't have them as it is happen to become preferable gen (mutation) to not have those teeth, than to have them. We can easily see forced evolution on domesticated animals and plants, that drastically changed over time. Humans now are just another "obstacle" of environment, and species that have fitting traits are thriving (cows, chickens, dogs, cats, etc. or rats and cockroaches - they took advantage of humans the other way and just steal our food). On the other hand, species who didn't have traits that help them take advantage of humans as new obstacle already did go extinct or will be soon. Evolution as it is. Absolute random.
