Most of the Guatemalans are very nice, friendly and warm regardless of status. I found myself roaming around the country with my daughter and I had a wonderful time, but the people's kindness was what stayed in my heart. With a simple "Buenas" salutation, their faces light up, I found this word to be the key to lots of smiles when I was there. Thank you for this awesone video because it shows how humbe the people are in Guatenala. Funny, some people say it's a dangerous county, but in reality this kind of kindness would never happen in the US, people are too paranoid from seeing way too many psychos doing all kinds of crazy things. Every couuntry has good ares and bad areas, but in the US, no one trusts anybody. However, people never talk about that.
Well it's not just America. it's known phenomena throughout the world. People get isolated as they become more rich. These same poor people will not treat you well if they suddenly become rich. They no longer need society to depend on that's why they get out of poor place and live in mansion. Nothing wrong in that. Would you let some random tourist from Africa enter your house ? The buses are old school buses that people buy in the United States and drive to Guatemala. They used to take them all the way from the North East through the border. That’s why the seats are so small. They would go loaded with goods, not all may have been legally obtained.
I am from Guatemala and I can say that we really welcome people into our homes out of kindness. I once invited a guy from Colombia to sleep in but I made sure my brothers sleep with me in my room. The next day we all went out to explore. P. S. The last minutes with the 🪳 was too funny!

Gotta love the kindness and hospitality ❤
The buses are old school buses that people buy in the United States and drive to Guatemala. They used to take them all the way from the North East through the border. That’s why the seats are so small. They would go loaded with goods, not all may have been legally obtained.
Awsome video, the people seems really nice, I'm putting this county on my bucket list .
“But this only happen few times, not alway “ this line is hilarious 😅
I am from Guatemala and I can say that we really welcome people into our homes out of kindness. I once invited a guy from Colombia to sleep in but I made sure my brothers sleep with me in my room. The next day we all went out to explore.
P. S. The last minutes with the 🪳 was too funny!

I am Irish/British and my maid is Guatemalan! She’s very nice but tore up a shit load of furniture, candle holder and burned up the motor in my vacuum cleaner!!!
Luckily I’m buying new couches and replacing some of the furniture!
She recently went home to Guatemala! And has been here 10 years!
And it’s not funny but she has been very nice, even when she tore up stuff. 😅
Lol those buses in Guatemala are likely familiar to almost every American as a school bus! Seats are the same. Amo a Guatemala de los Estados Unidos 🇬🇹
Gringo? He looks Guatemalan
I’m originally from Guatemala 🇬🇹, raided in the USA 🇺🇸, eating American fast food in Guatemala is for the wealthy. $7 may not seem a lot for tourist but its luxury for the poor.
Wow Tim you're just a ladies man, amazing what you acomplished in this video, you're my hero, I wish I had 1% of your smothness
Bro be you and the ladies will love you too
@@dfaro8453 you obviously aren’t from the west, are over 6ft in the west, or just aren’t observant. You can be yourself in other countries that aren’t western, not in places like America
@@IffyEdem I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. Rewrite your sentences please. I’m from Florida the sunshine state.
@@dfaro8453 He says that you're either from abroad (and thus don't know that you need a fake facade and can't just "be yourself" in the US). Or that you're from US but you're some tall jock and have it easy.
Guatemalan people aren't your typical Latinos they're very humble and very respectful and have very high standards regardless of their situation

Yeah bro definitely DON'T go to Zona 18. Lots of MS13 and barrio 18 marreros there. My family in Guatemala always tells me it's the worst of the worst in the city lol.
Yea bro - appreciate your comment bro cause u r saying it for my own good and you wanna help me! However haha I m just curious to see the vibe there cause I feel like u can find there good and ethical people too… lets see haha❤️🙏🏼
@@TimmyKarter there is always good people, and for the most part, most of the people are just as friendly and hospitable as anywhere Else in the country, but there is definitely a higher level of crime.

“The bus is about to explode, everything is falling apart, my whole body is in pain”. I died laughing haha that whole scene was so funny
