    I'm a first year radiography student, what's your advice for me.

    • @Studentship
      @Studentship  Рік тому +10

      Hello Ephraim
      Here are some advice for you:
      1. Set realistic goals. Don't try to do too much too soon. Start by setting small, achievable goals for yourself, such as getting high scores in your continuous assessment. Once you've achieved these goals, you can gradually set more challenging ones.
      2. Find a study buddy. Studying with a friend or classmate can help you stay motivated and accountable. You can quiz each other, discuss concepts, and help each other understand difficult material.
      3. Join a study group. Study groups can be a great way to learn from your peers and get help with difficult concepts. You can also find practice questions and study materials online or in the library.
      4. Attend all your classes. This may seem like a no-brainer, but it's important to attend all of your classes, even if you think you can learn the material on your own. Lecturers often give hints or tips in class that can help you on exams.
      5. Take good notes. Taking good notes will help you remember the material and study more effectively. Make sure to write down the important points, as well as any examples or explanations that the lecturer gives.
      6. Review your notes regularly. Don't wait until the night before the exam to review your notes. Review them regularly throughout the semester so that the material stays fresh in your mind.
      7. Practice, practice, practice. The more you practice, the better you will do on exams. There are many practice questions available online and in the library. You can also practice with your classmates or friends.
      8. Get help when you need it. Don't be afraid to ask for help from your lecturers, classmates. They are there to help you succeed.
      9. Manage your time wisely. Radiography is a demanding program, so it's important to manage your time wisely. Create a study schedule and stick to it. Make sure to leave enough time for breaks and relaxation.
      10. Get enough sleep. Getting enough sleep is essential for good grades. When you're well-rested, you're better able to focus and learn.
      11. Stay positive. It's important to stay positive and motivated throughout your studies. Remember why you chose to study radiography and focus on your goals.

      Yes you can do that but not in Nigeria. I’m a Radiographer practicing in England currently.
      There is something called Pre-registration Radiography. It allows anyone with science background (irrespective of your country) to become a Radiographer after 2 years. Check online for more information.
      Pls bear in mind, this is not possible in Nigeria but UK.

    Sir, pls is it true that it is almost impossible to establish your diagnostic centre with radiography because of the high cost of machines?....A friend said you can't establish on your own you have to work for someone

    • @Studentship
      @Studentship  4 місяці тому

      It's true that establishing a diagnostic center with radiography can be a significant financial investment due to the high cost of machines. However, it's not entirely impossible to do on your own.
      While it may be challenging, it's not impossible to start your own diagnostic center with radiography. With careful planning, financial management, and a strong business model, you can overcome the hurdles and make it a successful venture.
