Josh and Logan are together in New York and sitting way too close to each other. Josh tells Logan his theory about NY getting more tense and then tells a few subway stories that don't really prove his point, but are still quite strange. They also talk about a recent Uber ride they shared that, in retrospect, was kind of dangerous, Logan surprisingly does a lot of chatting on an airplane, and they get asked for some relationship and family advice in the mailbag.

Funny story about the taxi driver and the glasses, but just a FYI, when people say they are blind as a bat, it's regarding reading purposes, some of us can see distance very well so we can drive without glasses.
I was just about to comment this! I'm farsighted too; my glasses only work for things that are close, so I can't wear them to drive lol

The soda story is WILD. 🤣 it has been hours since I’ve seen that part, and I’m still cracking up about it.
The spike end of the umbrella is so that it is protected when it is tied up and stands upright. The metal ones are nice cuz you can also use it as a walking stick… we used our umbrellas like that in Japan-it was either raining or about to rain the whole time plus we were walking g everywhere and lots of hills.

I'll bet the Uber driver needed his reading glasses to see the dashboard icon. I was navigating a trip with my husband. I needed reading glasses for the road map and my distance glasses for the dashboard GPS. I quickly got bifocals: Too much multitasking .
I already listened to this episode but I needed to watch this to see Logan put his arm around Josh... not disappointed 😂

Considering Josh clearly does not have perfect eyesight (he has mentioned in other videos about not seeing things up close as well) he sure doesn't understand the difference between near-sightedness and far-sightedness. My parents eyesight are opposite of each other, but both of their kids have perfect vision. My Dad needs glasses to see stuff up close which means he's far sighted (he can see stuff far away with no issues). My Mom needs glasses for every day stuff because she can read up close no problem/ is near sighted, but can't see as well far away. The Uber driver sounds like he is far sighted, which means he didn't need glasses to drive.
Great episode ❤️ I never thought about the the difference of deeds getting more and more easier and interactions with humans are as complicated as they ever were. That is kind of revealing and explains a lot

For the girl worried about her grandparents reaction to her moving, TRUST ME when I tell you they're gonna be ok with it and they probably have been WAITING for this! As someone who has been grown living with parents, they love you and are good with you being there, but they will be thrilled with you leaving.
Oh sweet babies who haven’t turned 40 yet. He didn’t need glasses to drive you around because he can’t see close up because he’s getting old probably. Trust me it sucks!
I think relationships were always complicated we just weren't aware of it and not educated about it. Now we're better at recognizing and identifying problems, where as before we were just dense.

Ok, so I lived in Thailand for about 7 years and this one time, pretty early on, i ordered a coke at a small local street vendor and then i just stared in horror as she proceeded to pour the coke straight into a plastic bag, threw in some ice cubes and a straw and handed me the bag like this wasnt completely crazy.
It subsequently happened at least 2 other times as far as i can remember with different vendors so it is kind of a thing that happens over there sometimes. Just bags of loose soda.

The Uber situation in South Africa was horrible, there's still lots of tension. There were Uber drivers being burned alive in their cars, drivers and passengers being beaten up, shootings and more. They were attaching any car they suspected of being an Uber so people had issues with their lift clubs.
