Also how do they know where the iceberg was exactly. 5. Why would the white star line sink the Olympic the damage was affordable 6. Both ships were incredibly under insured so it would be a dumb way to be a fraud and it costed them their reputation and peoples life 7. If the switch theory was true, a way to also make more money is to release the Britannic which was under construction at the time why would they add more Safety features after the titanic sank if it was switched? Also if you want to switch those ships you would need to have them docked next to each other for a year even with 1000s of skilled workers, you would also need to keep their mouth shut which would be impossible. She was the real unsinkable. Scrapped Olympic was like one of the worst choices made in history. I wish she was turned into a hotel or a museum ship like Queen Mary :( but it’s happy that all the three sisters are together in heaven.. ❤️
They couldn't. White Star was going bankrupt because of the great depression, they needed the money and Olympic was outdated. When 1935 rolled around the Olympic had been sailing 25 years and was not really worth preserving. Not only this but by 1910 oil engines were created and became popular closer to WW2. Since coal was slowly losing popularity as a fuel source so too were Steam engines. In hindsight it was better to scrap Olympic because it opened job opportunities for thousands and got many families through the Depression. Cool ship, but history ran its course.
She was the first and last Olympic class liner.
LONG LIVE THE OLYMPIC✊
I wish White Star Line would not have been scrapped the Olympic, The company would have turned it into a museum in New York
When Olympic got scrapped,
I said:
"What a waste, all of it for nothing."

Blue Star Line, nice to see your ships from white star liner.
The only sister ship of the titanic and britannic to sail the seas for over 30 years.
*under 30 years.
Olympic was 35 years old
she was in use for 24 years 1910-1935
@@zhackiethedog Wrong, 26
Do the math my friend 1936 minus 1910

Thanks for making this
No problem
@@Blue-Star-Line can you make 'life of rms aquitania'
White star line was going through serious financial issues so they could not keep up with the Olympic it’s very sad
Don't Worry You're Not Alone Huh
I was wonder what the music that you used in this video
Olympic Never Sold For Scrap
It's Look A R.M.S Titanic
@@christopherteo7795 1. You make 0 sense
2. Because the Olympic which was the best of the trio liners actually had history and did a perfect job in service. also the build number 401 on titanic was found in its wreck on the proppelor which means you have been proven wrong.
But assuming you are an idiot and still believe in this stupid theory here is more:
3. The letters on the wreck that were shown in the video is just garbage and not real it is horrible CGI
4. Also how do they know where the iceberg was exactly.
5. Why would the white star line sink the Olympic the damage was affordable
6. Both ships were incredibly under insured so it would be a dumb way to be a fraud and it costed them their reputation and peoples life
And they weren’t even docked together that long
Also don’t forget civilians could snitch.
THEORY DEBUNKED🎉🎉🎉🎉
Now shut up about the switch theory
The Olympic looks like Titanic
She was Titanic's near identical twin. There were some minor differences between the two.
The Real Unsinkable Of Olympic Class,RMS Olympic!
Olympic and Aquitania are the most legends four stacker liner
Mauretania*
Fun fact: there were a group of people (which i don't know) attempted to preserve olympic, but they were unsuccessful, because it was too late to save her from the scrap yard...
If they were early... They would successfully preserve olympic... This means we can see her today...
i wish it was not scrapped and imagine we get to travel with it til today
I loved the green clock
