it sucks that rayman 3 hd removes some of the effects in the original, you can hardly realize its hd, only the combo mode counter its the max that you can realize
This is an amazing example of themes you can still hear the boss through. I can still hear Reflux even though he lines aren't actually there. Another great example of this is the boss theme from Majora's mask. The first boss had chanting that i hear whenever i listen to the theme.
This theme has everything. It fits the battle arena perfectly. A deadly Knaaren on the platform and lava beneath you. During this battle you are literally between a hammer and a hard place.
@@ivotcomer3183 Northern Australian I think. Also, does anyone else think some of the songs in this game were inspired by Crash Bandicoot? I could picture this being used in a boss fight
There were a lot of people who thought the didgeridoo sounds were knaaren vocals, but this my first time seeing someone actually make a sentence with them.
The first half of this world is probably one of the craziest and most difficult parts of the whole game but to fight Reflux afterwards is a good reward!
This fight was awesome, but what always confused the hell out of me as a kid was that Reflux always defeated the Knaaren, even though they're invincible. Reflux is not invincible, and Rayman, who's also not invincible, is the only one who can defeat him.
If Phantom had been smart, he would have used his powers of music to resurrect Reflux and infused him with Darkmess, so that Rayman would face off against a stronger Reflux, but with the aid of Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario it should be still solvable.
I can hear him spinning
Sound design was rad in that game.
i have never been so scared as a kid for this game it took me a lot of time to get past the level of the Knaaren
Same for me, the land was the last level for me
Bruh.... taht was really scary... ahah
Great fight and boss music but getting there was a terrifying experience
Absolutly agree
Scares me to this day
Didn't scare me.
Chicken.
no literally, zombie chicken.
@@mimiskye oh god don't remind me
I would extend the fight just to jam to this.
Same
Same here
This is one of those games I wouldn't actually get mad over if it got a remastered release. It was a straight 10 and I cant believe its been 20 years!

This is what a boss fight should be like.
Yeah... todays Boss Fights are either not fun or simply unbalanced
But the old ones were really funn

The didgeridoo riff is infectious.
Fun fact: Reflux was voiced by the same guy who sang the theme song for Arthur.
Wow ahah
Mind blown.
E'eryday when you're walking down the street, e'erybody that you meet
Has a weird fact about a voice difference
I learned to love the didgeridoo thanks to this song
[didgeridoo intensifies]

Reflux: *exists*
Rayman: "I'm about to end this man's whole career."
BANGER 🔥🔥🔥
"People have died and I'm about to devour their skin" in the background 💀

@sabayonte815 Be proud your creativity came up with a sentence that fits the level cause I definitely would've never thought of that XD

A great boss fight soundtrack

My cousin's favorite song from all of Rayman 3. At the same time, he hates everything else I have downloaded. And my one of my favorites.
Lowkey one of the most rawest bosses in a platformer to me
those vocals that just go DUH OUH DAH OUGOU dabaDUBONG GOU tho
I think those aren't vocals but didgeridoo
@@Cakemarvelousyea theyre didgeridoo
Best Boss fight in the game
one of the hardest bosses i ever defeated, it took me a LOT of tries
I'm gonna put some complex breaks over this, it sounds like breakcore!
Epic boss battle music
Best boss fight and this music is so great
0:38 god damnit, this part is so fucking good
Underrated
Came to the back, came to the bold
this guy was hard and horrifying
But the normal Knaarens were for me somehow scarier
@@havershelihaversheli Same because you couldn't defeat them
I hear singing of worshiping a god of a ritual sacrifice
What kind of genre is this ost 🤔🤔
\_(•_•)_/ I can’t exactly describe/pinpoint it either, Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc just has such a unique soundtrack it’s hard to describe.
