Both me and my older brother (both us are almost 30) still have this infesting our minds after playing it when we were kids. We both still hear globox complaining at us for missing said jump 😂
This game has a lot of core memory for me along with a handful of other games, the music in this one still to me is such a buzzard colorful splash of sounds, you can almost taste what they were smoking when they made this masterpiece
Did anyone else expect a fourth and final Teensie Highway after Desert of the Kanaaran, only to experience major disappointment when it just cut to The Longest Shortcut?
Okay im going to get a bit pretentious. I think this is because when Andre escapes and teams with Reflux, things get really bad and not having a disco level is a way of saying this. I also like the longest shortcut is a change of pace
i feel like the longest shortcut is a joke jab to the disco highway. sort of like how somone would know a "shortcut" only for it to be longer than you expect it if you had taken a highway or the original path
And now, the song that accompanies some of the most trippy visuals the Rayman franchise would ever see... Seriously, how did they come up with this stuff?

I absolutely love it when a soundtrack remixes/uses some of the grunting sounds of the main character. it's such a niche thing that i wouldn't be surprised if it got over most people's heads oh and i love the little french OUAIS!! damn i miss when Rayman was actually a cool somewhat silent protag
@@TYFitz531 that is just so wrong, rayman deserves to be on a console again but not in a 2d game he needs to go back to a 3d game like great escape and hoodlum havoc
@@kellytravis5880 oh I agree with you I’ve recently got into RayMan, play origins, then legends and then tried hoodlum havoc and it’s so sad we didn’t get a RayMan 4 and even a other 2d game on console I love them two games
Ok so i wasn't the only one obsessed with this song ahaha the only thing i Remember about this game was this minigame (idek if it was a minigame actually)
You know the soundtrack is amazing when even after the 50th time you missed that jump, your head keeps boppin

Paper Mario The origami King, fresh from 2020 has prob one of the best disco scenes evcer
(Austin Powers has liked this comment)
2:39 “Whoa, tiger! Whoa, tiger! Whoa, tiger!”
My favorite part of the song.
I hear hold tight
@@dinojungle7901As a kid I always heard "Little kindness!". But now I hear "Look behind ya!"
@@SpaaacceCore ahahhah, best childhood game for sure
I hear 'ooo, I like it' XD
The bit at 2:39 is indescribably nostalgic
When that disco hits for real
Mastered this as child, failed miserably as an adult...
Real
Yo al revés. De niño cuando lo jugaba, fallaba, ahora soy un maestro. 🎉
I feel ya
No cause I literally don't know how I beaten the game at like 6 year's old
@@ArtNouveausyeah, last boss was quite hard.

I just got to the Longest Shortcut today for my first playthrough and I was pretty disappointed

Great music and light effects. Everytime when I go through these sections, my friend with epilepsy can't stop dancing
The slow build up is always so good! This game has some of the best soundtrack!
I cried thinking about this game
Pretty sure this part of the game made every kid a future stoner
😭
As a person who grew up on these games and is now a stoner, i agree
lmfao and psychedelics enjoyer too
2:23 best part
Its the Definition of groovie
Rayman making them beats 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣🔥🔥🔥🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥵🥵🥵

Man I remember reloading saves just to bangy head to this. That's a real banger
That Baseline gives me unironically goosebumps..
I honestly wish I could play this game again, miss it

You can also play it on your phone with an emulator.
It's on gog. For like a Dolar.
Rayman 3 taught me how to G R O O V E!

God I struggled so unbelievably much during these things
Had there been a "lives" system for these... I'd never have beaten them as a kid x)

My father grew up when Disco was around and he enjoyed this Rayman tune.
2:23 IS THAT A FUCKING SAVUN REFERENCE!
Fucking awesome
There's references in this music to the original Rayman 2 obstacle course sections - the ones with Ly the fairy.
This is so groovy, and I dig it.

BANGER ALERT, LADS
me acuerdo que Globox decía algo de "bonita música eh??" xD
Si wwww
When I was little, it's a good memory that I have, thanks to this music, while I was really bad at passing these levels.
Gotta love that climbing bass from 2 mins in
THIS SHIT SLAPS SO HARD
it sounds like surf punk conker live and reloaded

Why does it remind me of Sonic Rush, even though they are years apart?
Edit: They are not years apart, only 2...

What the actual fuck did Rayman take before entering
Probably marijuana. Peace man ☮️ ✌️
Play dis level with 2 acid intus the real Endboss
