Hii! It's me (again!) (Still cleaning-now the kitchen-and watching your videos today) I was wondering if you have heard about the national parks ,especially Tiveden National Park. I visited last summer and I have to say, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Took my breath away, along with Lake Vättern. I hope to return this summer! My partner lives near Örebro and where he lives (in a village) there seems to be a really nice friendly community 🙂 I think that is something I definitely need in my life also, since I come from a small village originally in England also. Country bumpkin 😅

Driving on the "other" side of the road... I bought an old Jag in Watford, back in 1997. Then I had to drive it back to Blackheath and decided to go straight through London instead of cheating out by using the M25. First stop was a petrol station. Had to call the previous owner and ask how to get the filler cap opened (it had a broken release mechanism, so it wasn't my fault) and got that sorted. Filled her up, paid and took my seat back in the car. Who the flying f*ck has stolen the steering wheel...and the pedals? Guy next to me, at the pumps, was laughing his ass off. Ok. Re-enter on the right(correct) side. Better. The thieves had kindly left the steering wheel and the pedal box at the passenger side. How nice of them! Turn out on the road. Oh, shit! That bastard tries to kill me! He's driving on the left, that bastard! After a little bit of computation, flung my car over to the left, as well. My pride had taken quite a beating in just 5 minutes. But from there it went quite ok. Most problems occurred along European smaller roads. Trying to overtake with the wheel at the "wrong" side is not always optimal. You need a right hand curve, so you can see past the car in front of you on the inside, our you'll have no idea what's going to hit you. Or you need to start 100m back, pull out and see if you have a clear way.
You need to check out Captain John's Fish 'n' Cips in Knalleland! A food truck serving really good fish 'n' chips, run by a Dutch couple. Just opened this weekend.

@@YAYGOME Of all the stories to tell, the story about how you lived in Sweden for three years and have never visited Stockholm has to be quite interesting. 12:35 - I was born and raised in Sweden, left for a very different country about a decade ago and haven't looked back once, and I know exactly which kind of Swede you are referring to. The condescending arrogant know it all type that tends to also always consider the Swedish way better than any other way, and oh boy do they love telling foreigners about why they're wrong to do things differently than Swedes. It's kind of a unique flavor of smugness that I haven't encountered elsewhere except for - to a lesser extent - in one or two other Nordic countries. Other countries have arrogant people too, don't get me wrong, but it's just different than the Swedish brand of smugness.

If we made arrogance level into a pissing contest, I beg to differ that Norwegians are going to settle for second best. Try getting a couple of Norwegian delegates to show up at a meeting abroad at an international company, and you're going to hear quite quickly how that company could perform infinitely better if they bothered to apply the Norwegian model. "The Norwegian Model", and "We like to do it this way"... The most common phrases you're going to hear.
