I waited with the comment until my parcel arrived .I already have it in my hands and I’ve even tested them .I’ve bought all of them except GOTF ,this one it’s not my cup of tea. I must admit that all of them are actually a bit to watery. This is very disappointing. Generally I do love Gourmand so it’s obvious that golden one is my fave 😁
In the end, I’m a bit disappointed in this release. All are really pleasant to use, nice textures and very creamy lather overall, I appreciate the effort in taking the time to create new and more specific formulations for each gel ; Super Milk has vegetal milks, Let the Good Times roll has several oils, etc… It’s a nice change from the recent limited editions that were all basically Glycerin and fragrance. Of course, Guardian of the Forest and Skinny Dip are gorgeous, but I’m not really fond of the 4 others despite that. American Cream & Let the good times roll specifically have a weird nauseating smell to my nose for example, and I’m a sucker for Yummy Custard and the OG American Cream. These two formulations are just sickly for me. Super Milk is also meh, I don’t really feel the hype for this scent, makes me feel sick a little too…. Sultana is great as always, but in the end I would have much prefered to see more rare and exotic scents in this line-up, the overall impression feels rushed a bit, and not as luxurious as the previous exclusive shower gels releases. I remember the community release from 2019, including Goddess, Groovy Kind of Love, Turmeric Latte, Intergalactic, Sex Bomb… the scents were never made before in this format, which was exciting, and the textures, colors and feelings in the shower and on the skin were so impressive and stunning ! The whole range was pure enchantment, just LUSH ! 😍 I was in awe and enjoyed these products for months, useless to say that I miss this overall feeling of quality and uniqueness that seems pretty absent this time even if the new range is OK 😢 I love that they’re releasing new things, but I hope next time it will feel less « cheap » and more of a true surprise with more audacity, like Lush always did in their glory days. I’m glad you’re enjoying your products more than me, I was also glad I could buy these from my countrys’ e-shop, UK to France can be really expensive too with shipping costs + customs.
