What an insane collab with Alfa Romeo Switzerland, allowing you to fully spec your own car, that you get to drive for a year. My god, what a dream. Amazing colour choice, one of the most beautiful sedans ever made.
@@henrik1743honestly it does make at least some sense - I’ve just ordered one, I would have done so regardless, but this video made me get the Verde Montreal colour, which comes with a considerable price premium

💯. I have a 2023 in Verde Montreal. Carbon fiber roof and carbon fiber racing seats. PERFECT daily. Just perfect. This car is amazing. I just took it through the canyons of Arizona a week or two ago, and I was passing "supercars".
The most beautiful sports sedan ever. As an architecture student in grad school and the love for anything design related, I can go on all day explaining the reason why. Side note, your current car lineup is exactly what I’m aiming for. Giulia as the daily, Porsche GT car as the weekender. You got a new subscriber
If im honest- When previously choosing F80 M3 vs Giulia QV - I would've taken the BMW. But right now I would fully go with Giulia. Still looking amazing, still FIT (didn't gain 100kg of weight) - and just got upgraded inside. Thank you Alfa for sharing this car with Luke, i'm sure the pics and content will be worth it. I will try and test drive one myself.
One of the most enjoyable things I ever did in an Alfa (Stelvio Quadrifoglio) was having a fun run up the Furka Pass with a friendly chap who was in a Ferrari. Then later we had a nice drive with an older Alfa Spider on the Neufenen Pass. Maybe I'll spot Luke out there this summer, although I'll be stuck in an Audi this time. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is such a well rounded and usable vehicle, that I've deemed the one we own in the USA as an All-Weather Super Car. It has just so much performance capability, while remaining practical, no matter what the weather. It was chucking it down a few days ago, and the grip and handling in the wet is other-worldly (Pirelli PZeros PZ4). In the winter we run Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 performance winter tires on the QV, and once again, in mild winter conditions, it just behaves as if the snow doesn't exist.
I got one in my garage right now (unfortunately only for a week...). What a car! I have been having so much fun with it. Find a twisty road with no many cars around, turn radio off, open windows, select Race mode and ENJOY! Congrats also on your videography
Thank you Luke for this video! It's great to see you enjoying our Giulia Quadrifolio. We wish you lots of fun and look forward to hearing how you like the car.

As a fellow owner of a Rosso competizione QV, it truly is the ultimate daily driving machine. I fall more in love with the car every day I drive her! Congrats. Montreal green was my second choice, seriously such a beautiful color.
One the nicest looking modern cars on the road, where so many get the styling wrong this Alfa is just mean af looking. especially in that colour. perfection
I had the ultimate spec Quad from 2017. Had bought it brand new and regret every day for selling the car. Especially for this car you really have to see it in person to appreciate how gorgeous it is. Also, handles like no other. Faster I went the more rock solid it became. I had a BMW CSL that came very close to how good my Guilia was. I have been bugging the new owner to sell my Quadrofoglio back to me...!
This is my dream car! Got horse power, not so flashy that u can atrract bad people, sound good, luxury interior. Not many people drove this brand. Such a dream car!
That's wonderful! Congratulations, it's well earned. Thank You Luke for inspiring me to put out the work and go for my own dreams. You show us all, that it is possible. And like You said, it takes work, but.. it's worth it! Enjoy Your new daily, and keep up good work! P.S. Excelent configuration. I'd gone for it as well.
Often when I see a car that I initially really like, my emotions for it kinda disappear a little bit even though I'll maintain a soft spot for it. But, this car is the only car that my appreciation for it has grown with time. I love it more every time I see.
Been pondering one of these myself (inlieu of a M2), as a daily but also cheap track car. Maybe you could start your track exposure in this? Let us know. As for the boot spoiler, I'd call it a Gurney Flap. Gurney invented it for the 911 overnight during racing weekend. It's break the air at the arse end of the 911 to stop lift. It was literally a piece of plastic glued to the boot, changed engineers thoughts on aero from that point going forward, now all manufactures use them.
Do you have an M2 or contemplating it also? The new G87 is an super-planted, efficient, better built, fast tank. The Giulia is the purest and fastest (in the right conditions) driver's car. Plus without the electronic gizmos inside.
Today I canceled my 992.2 PTS order and ordered a QV instead. I've had one back in 2019, still have too many cars but I'll give her a good home and many kilometers on German Autobahn..😅
I REALLY wanted a Quadrafoglio as my next car as a replacement for my 2.0T Giulia. Unfortunately my local dealership is no more. The closest one is now almost 50 miles away. That is just not a tenable situation. I sold off my Giulia and ended up getting an Audi RS3 as the replacement for my Giulia. It's sad that Alfa doesn't get the love it deserves here in the US. My Giulia was a brilliant handling car. Even the 2.0T was plenty of engine to have fun with.
Yep, I have a feeling it’s partly a fear of reliability in general with Italian cars but at the same time I never heard anything solid on it so now I will find out for myself 😄
I agree. There are several reasons I guess, brand loyalty to the big three German marques, dealer support or people being influenced by internet myths on reliability that haven’t been true for a decade or so. I had a Giulia Quad for three years and in that time she ran like a Swiss watch, was unparalleled in terms of handling and performance but above all made me feel very special every time I took her out (something I never got from the M series & AMG’s I owned before). If I had to point out an area that AR failed in (at least in the UK), it was its dealer support but fortunately I found a superb independent dealer where warranty was preserved. I’d say to anyone ignore the internet naysayers, if you want a 4 door super saloon that has looks, performance and character that none of its rivals can match then you won’t regret owning a Quadrifoglio.
@@carswithluke In the USA the poor reliability reputation persists, and it is not entirely undeserved. We had loads of trouble with our 2018 Giulia and my wife's 2023 Stelvio Quadrifoglio just spent two weeks at the dealer for an engine ECU replacement. Most of the wait was because Alfa USA doesn't stock replacement parts, items have to be shipped in from Europe. I know of another '23 Stelvio QV that has been waiting on a replacement windscreen for 3 months, car just sits at the dealer, the owner very unhappy. As Clarkson has also said: "Alfa builds a car to be as good as a car can be... briefly."
Welcome to the club. Hope to see much content. They make you feel special. Great colour choice. Don’t worry about the exhaust. Just get a valve controller and leave them open!! 😜 Ed
They really need to make a Q4 version of the Giulia QV, that would be my ideal daily(but I Doubt they will)! I have a 2022 Stelvio QV and it’s an amazing driver’s car for what it is, but it’s still missing that razor edge handling that the lighter & lower Center of gravity Giulia has.
Well done Luke on gaining the respect required to obtain & report on this sweet thing. I have just picked up a MY21 version on a QV in this colour (with yellow brake callipers) from its previous & passionate owner. Having previously had BMW M135i & Audi S5 I can say this is truly at a completely different level. Still feeling my way around but sense this will be the start of a serious love affair.❤
Just picked up a 24 Carbon Edition. Your break-in period of 1000km is interesting. The manual only suggests 500km of normal driving during which "brief periods of full acceleration contributes to a good break-in." This was surprising to me as my last Giula Estrema also required a phased 1000km break in. Since I've hit 500km in the QV, I've been doing brief full acceleration in Dynamic. Haven't driven it in Race yet though.
Lovely opening sequence, Luke. Such a stunner, this car - particularly in this colour. Curious to know if I’ve mispronounced Alfa Romeo all these years… It sounds like you’re pronouncing it Alfa Romo.
