Ironically, this is the last time that Pope Francis wore a chasuble inside St. Peter's Basilica. The last Mass he celebrated on the High Altar was the Chrism Mass the day before this. And the last time he went up the High Altar was to give a homily on the Easter Vigil the next night, which he did not preside.
We would see Pope Francis later on at the side during Holy Mass in Cope, presiding the liturgy of the word, and giving thr final blessing. All due to his knee pain.
