I love the Maybelline instant age rewind concealer in the shade “brightener”. It’s also a salmony pink shade. Hereditary dark circles run in my family too and I’ve been using this shade for years!
You need to get a metal tube squeeze “key”...they have tons on amazon. I use them for my hair color tubes at the salon to get every gram of color. It squeezes it without creasing the sizes like that and causing it to crack!

MY DOGS DO THE SAME THING. My dog knows when I spray my setting spray, that I’m getting up or when I’m in bed, all I have to say is “okay” and they get up OR if they hear me unplug my charger, they all go crazy cause they know I’m getting up. Dogs are so smart.

Nyx has a color corrector pot “concealer” that is pretty similar as well as Catrice. That’s that same salmon color . But for high end their is the one from Becca undereye color corrector .

I love that corrector. I got mine recently since seeing Sam Ravndahl talk about it, but it's never "sparkly". However, it's certainly dewy and doesn't dry down.

I am a freelance artist for CT and just got educated on this product, so the Charlotte Tilbury corrector can also just be worn alone as a concealer so it doubles that way but the formula of it is made to work with any type of foundation or powder as well! and I agree the price is definitely expensive but a little does go along way with that product and is versatile in different ways and I think you and your eyes look beautiful and like you said they appear forward snd look plump which I love because I have the same issues with darkness , no sleeps & allergies kill me. I put a tiny bit in the corner and blend it out with my finger. I struggle with concealer looking dry so it’s been a game changer for me. If it’s too dewy try sheering it out and leaving it for a bit to set before going in with concealer?
I love your monthly favourites kathleen! I use the bobbi brown colour corrector. It’s quite stiff in consistency but once you’ve warmed it up with your fingers, it works amazingly😍😘

Hi Kathleen! As a professional makeup artist, I always correct the color of the under eye before I put concealer. My favorites are nyx dark circle concealer 04 and kryolan dermacolor camouflage in D4. They are a bit dark but they work on the majority fair to medium skins I worked. Excited to try the CT one! 😍
Whenever I can't sleep I put on Myths and Legends podcast and I fall asleep within 10 - 15 min. There is just something about the guys voice that does that for me. This usually happens when I am dealing with a lot of stress.

My fav undereye corrector: Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector. Its lovely, and if you have drier undereyes, it is nice and emollient.
