Iron Maiden die hard fan here (saw them in Milan last Summer), but as soon as I listened to Lovebites, these ladies became immediately my favourite band. You have almost 60 songs ahead of you: good, outstanding and masterpieces. You’ll never go through a skip track. I’m looking forward to seeing the ladies live in June. Up the Irons! 😁🤘 I have been listening to Iron Maiden for decades now, and nevertheless quickly fell in love with LOVEBITES, after about the 3rd or 4th live video I watched from them here. 😁 I stick to "Eddie and the boys" nevertheless, for they, too, produced amazing Metal masterpieces, and to me Iron maiden still are the masters of story-telling Metal (Alexander The Great, Brighter Than a Thousand Suns, Empire of the clouds, a.s.o.). I just _enhanced_ my Metal playlist: Iron Maiden, Helloween, Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie. 😁🤘
I always imagine that with a drummer - whether male or female - in the background who has such an incredible command of this huge instrument; so mastered that I always call it "little, big engine" with deepest love and admiration. Haruna, a shy, introverted woman who awakens her inner giant on the drums and shows everyone, every drummer in the universe, where the hammer hangs, where the highest mountain peak a drummer can climb is. I just always imagine that with this beater on the drums, in the background - all the other instrumentalists and singers must be uniquely talented and incredibly good at mastering and playing their technical and human instruments. No “merely good” musician could enrich Lovebites!
LOVEBITES is a damn good band, but when I think of them, I think of Asami (vocals), Haruna (drums), and Midori (blonde guitarist) going to Yokohama Arena to watch BAND-MAID in concert to support them. That was so sweet of them.

Holy War is the first song i listened to them and i fell in love immediately. Lovebites is the only band that i prefer to listen to live versions because they are totally awesome live and they should be metal superstars all around the world !!! I am an old Spanish wolf, and honestly, I am in awe of these girls, I still remember that distant 1978, when I was waiting in front of the record store for the latest Rainbow or AC/DC album and now, after a thousand years later and with the transformation of heavy metal into something dark, pessimistic, sometimes unpleasant, I find myself with these wonderful women, incredible and beautiful artists, full of sympathy and positive energy, who transmit joy of life and hope, who have filled my heart with joy. I cant stop watching and enjoying them; I have forgotten the old bands with their old musicians who repeat their old songs over and over again; I just want to hear, see and feel these masters of heavy metal music. And special mention to the most beautiful and talented singer in the world, my beloved Asami, the goddess before whose feet I bow.
Talking about Iron Maiden. There is a reason why Miho here uses a blue Fender-style ESP. She is a big Maiden/Harris fan. She did sadly leave mid 2021, but got replaced by the Bass-prodigy Fami.
It is nothing short of a miracle that five members of this caliber were able to come together in one band. Miho, the leader and bassist, is a genius bassist who gathered the members with a clear vision to create this band, and created this band to realize the musicality he had envisioned!

Just wait, you have seen nothing yet. The new album is awesome, the new bassist Fami brings a new element to the band and has a smile that Just makes you happy. I will put them up against any past metal band and as far as the drummer Haruna, sorry in my opinion she is the best drummer in the world right now.
Hard to believe Asami was a backup singer mostly r&b,and is actually a ballerina and LOVEBITES is the first time signing metal. And for her to do it in 💯%in English is awesome.

Having been around in the music industry since the 80s, I thought I had seen it all 🤔! My advice to you is look at their list and pick one regardless of who says what because they do not have a bad song at all! It's a journey that I have been on since 2017 and never disappointed! However, I will go against what I said earlier 😉. Hammer of Wrath 2023 is worth a look!!,😎🤟

A very talented group that is perhaps the best in the world in this genre, and works best live. These Tokyo concerts have been mixed with great professionalism, thanks to the sound team. These are candy for the eyes and ears. The multitalented Miyako's solos are so soulful that the heart flutters and the eyes get wet. 🩷💔

A suggestion: for your car, download their second album Clockwork Immortality. It's the lightest of their four albums, and most of the songs that people will ask you to react to are on their other albums and EPs, so you can still first-react to them without listening to them before. But most of their stuff is way too fast to be played in the car, especially anything after Clockwork Immortality. If you were to listen to Judgement Day in your car (their newest), you'd get stopped for speeding. 😄 They go all out on speed on that one. Also, do you know you have a great bass voice? You should sing in a choir.

Oh are you going to enjoy your dive into this band. From rip your face off thrash to heavy metal ballad classics, these beautiful ladies do it better than anyone. I humbly suggest Break The Wall from this same concert. Super thrash with two very different guitar soloes. But you really cannot go wrong with these ladies. Live is almost always better than video. Since you appreciate their Iron Maiden influence, you must check out their song "The Crusade". It is a tribute song to Maiden, in the style of "Aces High", but the girls actually blow away the old masters and make it look easy. Faster, more precise, more melodic, heavier...and little Haruna just drums circles around dear Nicko. The MV and the live versions are both worth checking out.
Check out Sonic Lover Reckless song Phoenix. This was a side project of Miyako and a different style that’s still heavy on guitar and shiny, black leather outfit! ❤

Your definitely on target. I have described Lovebites as the lovechild of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Dragon Force. The band's main inspiration is obviously Iron Maiden. They also embody all the elements and speed of thrash like Metallica and Megadeath. And of course, their two guitarists are on the same level as the guys from Dragonforce. Bruce Dickinson was known as the human air raid siren...Asami is the female version of the air raid siren. She is the perfect power metal vocalist. And the 4' 8" drummer, Haruna, is a true gift from God. Nobody that size and that girly should be doing what she's doing! I consider them the best metal band currently making music. The fact that they are also easy on the eyes does not hurt. If I had to choose between sweaty, hairy men playing metal or Lovebites...the girls win every time!

She has a really strong voice. Real talk, if you like Lovebites you need to react to Galneryus as well, I’m not going to say they are the male version of Lovebites as they are their own thing, but if you want 70s, 80s & 90s raw Power Metal inspiration you absolutely can’t miss them. BABYMETAL is my favorite band of all time, & I put Galneryus alongside them, BAND-MAID & Nemophilia are another awesome female bands, all of them are like the ultimate Metal line so please check them out more 🦊🤘🔥

Thanks for your reaction! 3.5 years ago, when I accidentally came across LOVEBITES on YT, I was about as surprised as you. These ladies amazed me with their skills and songs. The only slight difference is that the first LOVEBITES songs I was introduced to were 'Rising' and 'Thunder Vengeance'. When Miho (bass, founder and leader of the band)created LOVEBITES, she was guided by the music of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal . One of her favorite bands is IRON MAIDEN and Steve Harris is one of her favorite bassists. Steve's bass playing style had a huge influence on Miho's playing. Many people who listen to LOVEBITES for the first time say (as a compliment and admiration!) that the sound of some of the LOVEBITES songs often reminds them of IRON MAIDEN, and Asami's vocals are very similar to Bruce Dickinson's vocals. I think that's not all. I would also add that Miho's bass is very similar to Steve Harris' bass. P.S. A few years after creating LOVEBITES, Miho met Steve Harris and they became friends. Steve and Miho are two great bassists, two founders and two leaders of great bands, IRON MAIDEN and LOVEBITES !

Best metal band in the world! I can say that with a straight face too! I totally get it if someone told me that they weren't their thing, that they prefer death metal or a male vocalist etc. However, if you are looking for 80s metal resurrected with some modern twists, insane talent, and soaring vocals (and some beautiful vocals as well), then look no further than Lovebites. You will get several recommendations for songs to react to from Lovebites. There is no wrong choice. It's hard to find what one would consider a bad song from them because it doesn't exist. Their worst song might be better than most songs from other metal bands. They don't do many covers, but one I would recommend is their cover of Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free".

Talking about Iron Maiden. There is a reason why Miho here uses a blue Fender-style ESP.
She is a big Maiden/Harris fan. She did sadly leave mid 2021, but got replaced by the Bass-prodigy Fami.
It is nothing short of a miracle that five members of this caliber were able to come together in one band. Miho, the leader and bassist, is a genius bassist who gathered the members with a clear vision to create this band, and created this band to realize the musicality he had envisioned!

Having been around in the music industry since the 80s, I thought I had seen it all 🤔! My advice to you is look at their list and pick one regardless of who says what because they do not have a bad song at all! It's a journey that I have been on since 2017 and never disappointed! A suggestion: for your car, download their second album Clockwork Immortality. It's the lightest of their four albums, and most of the songs that people will ask you to react to are on their other albums and EPs, so you can still first-react to them without listening to them before.
But most of their stuff is way too fast to be played in the car, especially anything after Clockwork Immortality. If you were to listen to Judgement Day in your car (their newest), you'd get stopped for speeding. 😄 They go all out on speed on that one.
Also, do you know you have a great bass voice? You should sing in a choir.

Since you appreciate their Iron Maiden influence, you must check out their song "The Crusade". It is a tribute song to Maiden, in the style of "Aces High", but the girls actually blow away the old masters and make it look easy. Faster, more precise, more melodic, heavier...and little Haruna just drums circles around dear Nicko. The MV and the live versions are both worth checking out.
Check out Sonic Lover Reckless song Phoenix. This was a side project of Miyako and a different style that’s still heavy on guitar and shiny, black leather outfit! ❤

Your definitely on target. I have described Lovebites as the lovechild of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Dragon Force. The band's main inspiration is obviously Iron Maiden. They also embody all the elements and speed of thrash like Metallica and Megadeath. And of course, their two guitarists are on the same level as the guys from Dragonforce. Bruce Dickinson was known as the human air raid siren...Asami is the female version of the air raid siren. She is the perfect power metal vocalist. And the 4' 8" drummer, Haruna, is a true gift from God. Nobody that size and that girly should be doing what she's doing! I consider them the best metal band currently making music. The fact that they are also easy on the eyes does not hurt. If I had to choose between sweaty, hairy men playing metal or Lovebites...the girls win every time!

Real talk, if you like Lovebites you need to react to Galneryus as well, I’m not going to say they are the male version of Lovebites as they are their own thing, but if you want 70s, 80s & 90s raw Power Metal inspiration you absolutely can’t miss them. Thanks for your reaction! 3.5 years ago, when I accidentally came across LOVEBITES on YT, I was about as surprised as you. These ladies amazed me with their skills and songs. The only slight difference is that the first LOVEBITES songs I was introduced to were 'Rising' and 'Thunder Vengeance'.
When Miho (bass, founder and leader of the band)created LOVEBITES, she was guided by the music of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal . One of her favorite bands is IRON MAIDEN and Steve Harris is one of her favorite bassists. Steve's bass playing style had a huge influence on Miho's playing.
Many people who listen to LOVEBITES for the first time say (as a compliment and admiration!) that the sound of some of the LOVEBITES songs often reminds them of IRON MAIDEN, and Asami's vocals are very similar to Bruce Dickinson's vocals. I think that's not all. I would also add that Miho's bass is very similar to Steve Harris' bass.
P.S. A few years after creating LOVEBITES, Miho met Steve Harris and they became friends. Steve and Miho are two great bassists, two founders and two leaders of great bands, IRON MAIDEN and LOVEBITES !
That's impact of her father on Miho. Harris can not be friend with Miho., she just thought so.

Best metal band in the world! I can say that with a straight face too! I totally get it if someone told me that they weren't their thing, that they prefer death metal or a male vocalist etc. However, if you are looking for 80s metal resurrected with some modern twists, insane talent, and soaring vocals (and some beautiful vocals as well), then look no further than Lovebites. You will get several recommendations for songs to react to from Lovebites. There is no wrong choice. It's hard to find what one would consider a bad song from them because it doesn't exist. Their worst song might be better than most songs from other metal bands. They don't do many covers, but one I would recommend is their cover of Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free".
