I’ll be giving this fire lay a try next time I’m out👍🏻
Being able to let more air at it is a great and simple idea
    Thanks for another informative video.

Another great video, I'm a new bush craft enthusiast from northern Indiana, I've watched a lot of your content and learned many skills. I've seen u mention pace beads and having maps In your bug out bag. I would love to see a video on navigation!

Always great videos, crammed with information, humor, love the laid-back style. Other schools may have competent instructors but my Army days were decades ago, I don't want a Drill Sergeant teaching me anymore LOL. Thanks for sharing!

I really like this systematic approach as it's repeatable and unhurried. The focus is on getting it right each time whatever the variables. Probably the best teacher on the net for bushcraft skills.

Thoroughly enjoying your book "Surviving The Wild". Lots of good stuff. "This is my safety, sir". Great movie line. I liked Eric Bana in that role. I used that phrase in some of my firearms classes. You could have saved your fat wood since the tinder took the spark. 😁

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, my friends and I would play Mumblypeg. We didn't use stakes, we used any and all kinds of knives until one of our friends put a WW1 bayonet through his foot. 12 Year olds.
