Thanks soooo much for this vid - after watching it 4 times over the last several weeks I finally ordered the TD4D just now! I wish all review video channels were this informative and extremely well put together... and funny... You’re the best!!
Thank you so much I Appreciate it. It's a great machine, we use that almost daily. It's pricey but it eventually break even with free UPS/FedEx labels.
I've been watching a few of your videos in regards to figuring out what label printer would be best for my end. Just want to say that you make fantastic videos and it is really appreciated by me as well as many others! Thank you so much!
Loving your videos! 🎉 Just frustrating that none of the printers seem to fit everything I'd like to have, so I'm still undecided. 😆 Granted, I didn't know label printers let alone thermal ones even existed, 🤷 so I'm really glad to have come across your channel. 😊 I feel like I could speak about them intelligently now. 🥰 Thank you!
Can you (or one of your viewers) help me understand advantages/disadvantages of the DK-1241 4x6" labels vs the DK-1247 4.07x6.4" labels? I think the QL1110 comes with the 1247s - do you have any issue using these vs the regular 4x6" size? Thanks!
I would love a video on the rollo wireless vs brother's wireless thermal shipping label printers. A google search on that is what brought me here. Which would you choose between the two?
This video, along with the other thermal printer review videos, helped me make a decision on which printer to purchase, which is the BROTHER TD4550DNWB. Thanks for the information
I've connected a LP 2844 to my mac with LP2 driver but there's a delay in printing, the cheaper machine which looks similar prints immediately Do you have any idea why this should be so?
But i heard that you can buy 3rd party labels from ebay for QL-1110NWB as well. Maybe the video is bit old now ? Any idea if newer model of QL11100NWB is on the horizon ?
Have you tried to change to 300dpi (when printed with android) I have blood sucker Zebra ZD421 and have to adjust everytime I print from Mac OS ..... zebra hate it
Very informative. I was hoping that with your expertise that you would share how to configure the printer to use different size labels. It comes with 4.07 X 6.4 as the default but also comes with 2.4 continuous labels that I can not get to print.
Im looking for a thermal printer to use labeling small water sample containers. Preferred label size would be 2.5"x3" ish. The label needs to be able to reliably adhere to plastic bottles that often are damp when applying the label. Also the labeled bottles will be packed in ice. Black and white is fine and resolution is not very important. Printing in the field with bluetooth or wifi would be a must. Battery powered would be amazing. Any opinions?
@@thecollegepicker just for clarification I’m not worried about the printer being in damp environments. I can keep it dry. But the labels need to be trusted on each sample bottle. The labels need to survive 3 days in ice cooler. Once dropped off the laboratory applies their own barcode. When the lab provides partially complete labels I’m almost certain they are the thermal type.
I'm looking into the TD-4D for shipping labels but I'm also interested in printing very small price tag labels (10mm x 19mm)... Demo sells labels that are cut to that size. Am I able to configure the TD-4D to print on those labels?
We have Brother TD 4550. The good thing about it is that from the back view there is a big slit for the paper to feed in, so if you have 4x6 paper (not rolled-flat ones/deck type), you can just feed it in for continuous printing, This is good if you print about 50+ pages a day.
I have both of them and use them both for different uses because I am lazy. The TD printer I use for shipping labels and the QL I use to print address labels and barcodes and random labels that I need. I honestly could do all of those things on one but I hate switching paper on thermal printers.
Thanks for the video great info. I am looking for a label printer to print (PPDS) pre packed food in UK. I want to print 55mm wide 160mm long and do not need colour. Will the Brother QL-1110? Work for this as it’s listed as a “shipping & Barcode “ label printer?
what is a font size that is really really small? You mentioned 203dpi not being good for printing small text. My labels have 11-12pt font. Is that what you mean by small? Would that size font need a 300dpi printer?
Great video. Are these the only two AirPrint label printers on the market? I’m looking for a label printer that can work with iOS. We print most of our labels with Shopify, so just need something that works with that. I was hoping the Zebra ZSB-DP14 would allow that as the price is good and we don’t do crazy volume. Can both Brother printers change between shipping labels and barcode labels quickly like the Zebra ZSB-DP14? Been using Zebra 450 and the Dymo Label Printer for years. But working more and more on iOS, so looking for wireless option, or workaround. Great channel.
Hi, i have a question I hope u can answer about a other thermal printer. I have the Bixolon SRP-770iii and I have a ChromeBook. Do you know if it’s compatible. And if so how I set it up to configure to start printing label? PLEASE HELP! Thanks u
*Absolutely love the **Bestt.Digital** Label Printer! I have needed a label printer to make shipping orders so much easier but the fact that i got it in such a pretty color. Top notch! Prints nicely*
I have a question for you Eric. Which would you go for? Zebra lp-2844 for $150 (2009 mfr but in brand new never used condition) or the Rollo for the same amount, $150, new; Need 15 labels a week. Thanks for your awesome videos
Stay with the Zebra. Zebra is the best. I would recommend skipping the 2844. It's an older model. Look at the zp450, or if you can spend the money the Zebra ZD series is even better, it has all the new technology.
@@BatGamershow0661940 Wow, never even thought a generic driver would work. I just printed with Nokoprint because print share wasnt free. Youd still think FOR $500 that brother would have built it in their print service plug in to be used normally to print in androids print dialogue =(
