      MrMemo200012 When the fight is not even close for a rematch you got humiliated. As simple as that. Naz was supposed to completely destroy Barrera easily in less than 4 rounds and boy did he get a surprise. He got so humiliated that he quit his career after it and he was still relatively young for the sport.

      bullshit. Marco and prince are exactly the same age. if you mean boxing years your also wrong because marco actually started his pro boxing career 2 years before prince (and continued 9 years after prince retired). so in theory marco was way older in boxing years with much much harder opponents at different ages. Prince was a great boxer but unfortunately it was due to his talent and ability. Marco on the other hand did not merely rely on his talents and abilities but in time perfected becoming a boxing technician with sound boxing basics. That will sustain your boxing success much further after your talents and abilities start becoming affected by age. In short barrera was a better and more disciplined fighter.

    At the end of the day no matter what you say about naz vs barare fight, naz was too entertaining and a great fighter. He came from humble beginnings and became a global superstar thanks to brendan ingle who spotted his talent at the age of 10. At the end of the day, the guy made the right the decision to retire and become financially secure with nothing to worry about. The guy entertained you haters as well as me and like he says he was damn good at it. Hes a rich man now. I dont blame him because I would do the same thing. The guy made millions thats what its all about.

    @Raiton45 I agree. Take this as an Example of that. When Floyd Mayweather fought victor Ortiz he was landing lead right hands and left hooks as well as combinations in some rounds and the punches seemed to have no effect what so ever on Victor. But in the moment that he did not see the punches coming was when he got laid out. that demonstrates that saying is true. If you can land a quick hard shot during the fight that your opponent doesn't see you might be able to knock almost anyone out.

    no jab
    a hard punch
    worked vs tomato cans and got a scare and a half vs a finished kelly.
    came up vs a true world class fighter in barrera and well…embarrassing really.
    great pr and sky money can take you a long way!
    p.s. even his cornerman maurice was laughin behind his back, regarding his chin.
    funny guy though.

      Yes that makes wayne mccullough , kevin kelly and all the world champs he beat shit too, barrera got him on his decline when he lost the love for boxing n wasnt training but still when 12 rounds with him, keep hating but hes done more for boxing than your words could ever do.

      you’re actually calling mccollough and kelly great fighters?? kelly was finished and came within a whisker of beating him when your champ had the “love of boxing”, and mccollough is who exactly in the grand scheme of things? barrera taught him a boxing lesson and didn’t knock him out as he @@zq1800 wasn’t a reknowned puncher moving up in weight from fly to bantam and then featherweight.
      that’s a new one i’ve heard: “lost the love of boxing” lol.
      what’s next? you’ll be callin amir kon a great boxer because he had fast hands?? lol fool

    im not sure where your going with this , are you saying hameds style was no good ? his style was all his , ali had a style that was only his to. as for a level fighters he was champion for 5 years solid , are you saying he fought nobody's until barrera , even the great ali lost , barrera was better on the day , but he was not the better boxer , again its all about opinions , respect .

  • @deonvan
    @deonvan 12 років тому

    No hate but with his style, 2 years ago if he fight any A level fighter the same consequence will happen just like barrera toying with him. I mean c'mon man??? Barerra toy hamed the whole fight! Whether you are great or not, to get toy like this because his heart is with his family and not in it? He tried the best he can. If he have the signature of greatness he would at least win a round?? Not even 1 good round toward barerra? Maybe he does think about his family alot to not win a round. Peace.

  • @thebunsterooo
    @thebunsterooo 12 років тому

    like i said in my first comment , if hamed fought barrera 2 year before they met, he have ko d him out , hamed had just started a famly and his heart was not in it anymore , hence no real comeback , i also like barrera he was a great , , its all about opinions tho .

  • @thebunsterooo
    @thebunsterooo 12 років тому

    make no mistake naz hamed was fkn brilliant flyin carpet an all . if he got to barrera 2 years before they met he would have knocked him out , also to all the bams out there who say hamed was pish , YOU CANT BE WORLD CHAMPION FOR 5 YEARS AND BE PISH . respect .
