Imagine losing only just one time in a spectacular fashion that also by decision and also all the other wins were by knockouts and still ppl doesn't give enough credit 💀 Love him or Hate him but for sure Prince Naseem will never be forgotten 💖
You forgot to mention that he had a hand injury and had to make weight within an hour

Floyd Mayweather himself said Prince Naseem is a legend. So forget all these keyboard warriors lol
prisoneroftech A legend who got humiliated by Marco A. Barrera, right?
7Chino7 humiliated??? Are you serious? Was it a knock out ?
Check both records and see who is a legend 👍🏻
MrMemo200012 When the fight is not even close for a rematch you got humiliated. As simple as that. Naz was supposed to completely destroy Barrera easily in less than 4 rounds and boy did he get a surprise. He got so humiliated that he quit his career after it and he was still relatively young for the sport.
@@7Chino7 bark
umaruu Yup. Naz got beaten directly to retirement. Thats how bad it was.
Everyone saying Barrera kicked his ass but he won on decision with three points.
Still he won
Boxing Fanatic ya don't know what kicking ass means
john su and he had to train for 6 weeks after quiting the gym for 8 months
nassem had problems before the mach, from there he would soon get divorced and one of his parents was dead this did not divert him from the clash and for this he lost
Barrera kicked his stinky ass big time.
say what you want, but he is the hardest hitting feather champ ever and with that power you have to give him a chance with anyone in history, saddler, pep, arguello etc
Dam right I saw him live a few times it was a electric atmosphere and even lough you didn't always get many rounds as the main event it was top drawer boxing for the fans from a absolute legend in the sport, it will be very hard to get a fighter like that for many reasons, i saw a whole pub with at least four hundred people go crazy and almost a riot in yorkshire when he was fighting , ....simply a one off and i was glad i got to see it live and see how he dominated the division
Would you give him a chance against Barrera?😂🤣👍
Funny but all that punching power was never against the "Elite" of hamed era (Morales,Pacquiao,Mayweather,Gatti,Marquez,Tapia..etc) only against a BUNCH of nobody's in the UK lol lol
@@marshallsimmons56 I don't think he dominated Barrera 😂😂🤣😂🤣😉👍
@@Spurs-bx8pd totally agree & he avoided Casamayor, Freitis, etc aswell.
The Hamed fans all have blinkers on, he looked good fighting bums but got a physical and mental beating by a true legend in Barrera 😆👍
Prince was more than a boxer. His fights were full of thrilling. He brought new era to boxing history. What a Legend.
His style of boxing works when you are young and reflexes are at their peak, as you age the reflexes are not as sharp, so he became vulnerable and that's why Barrera had a good crack at him.
how old was he when he met Barrera?
garyw1971 He was about 27...His style still was not the same speed when he was much younger.
he wasn't old when he thought Barrera lol he just didn't prepare.
bullshit. Marco and prince are exactly the same age. if you mean boxing years your also wrong because marco actually started his pro boxing career 2 years before prince (and continued 9 years after prince retired). so in theory marco was way older in boxing years with much much harder opponents at different ages. Prince was a great boxer but unfortunately it was due to his talent and ability. Marco on the other hand did not merely rely on his talents and abilities but in time perfected becoming a boxing technician with sound boxing basics. That will sustain your boxing success much further after your talents and abilities start becoming affected by age. In short barrera was a better and more disciplined fighter.
sf2explus I remember Floyd's reflexes were still amazing at the age of 27
Brilliant... boxing misses you Naz...
He did his time and will go down in history as one of the greatest boxers that ever lived...you deserved every bit of fame and glory for your hard work and dedication...blessings

Great boxer
Barrera kicked his ass big time!!!
Thanks Naz. I'll work on that.
Very cool.
Cheers!
Imagine if Naseem did fight Floyd. What a fight it'd be
his crib is fire
At the end of the day no matter what you say about naz vs barare fight, naz was too entertaining and a great fighter. He came from humble beginnings and became a global superstar thanks to brendan ingle who spotted his talent at the age of 10. At the end of the day, the guy made the right the decision to retire and become financially secure with nothing to worry about. The guy entertained you haters as well as me and like he says he was damn good at it. Hes a rich man now. I dont blame him because I would do the same thing. The guy made millions thats what its all about.
The game misses Naz man, and the game was good to him, look at that crib...I saw him a few times circa 95, 96 when he came to my gym in Canning Town anytime he was fighting in London Arena...mouthy dude but he backed it up and he was entertaining as shit, he just had his own style.
Top class boxer, top class science. top class explanation, top class crib, top class entertainment. Simply put., Naz is legend!
For the first few seconds I thought it was Edmond Tarverdyan))))))
Orion head movement!
❤️❤️❤️The best boxer ever
If you're hands where in a bad way, was you hitting other boxes the wrong way. Very good boxer found wanting by the elite.
His voice and accent lol reminds me of kell
lewis was pretty good too:)
he has a great chin
True say though.
That is the science but maybe naz needed abit more practice to actually master it
But he had the right idea. Especially these days when they just do whatever they want
"moggy did ye make ma tea" u wud know hes british.
Deem I missing to naseem hamed
Timbeeeeeeeeeeeeer!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't care what anybody says... I love this guy!
Whether you like him or not, you can't deny the fact that he was a legend in the sport and there's a lot of knowledge to gain from watching him box and share his own views. Then you can just leave what you don't like and keep what you like.

The most powerful chin and the most powerful punches and the most unique skill for pound to pound in boxing history. Even Barrera couldn't knock him out Naseem fighting with a broken hand.
Most powerful chin? Did you see the Kelly fight

Kelly made him touch more canvas than Picasso and Barrera made him wobble like a chicken

@Hellwalker935 what b.s excuses!
Explain why he didn't train for the biggest fight of his life?
You just can't handle the truth that he got a boxing lesson by a far superior boxer & he wasn't in the same league as Barrera
Those hands are soooo fast!
This a nice ass house...
People hate on him for 1 loss on points. When he had boxing in a headlock defeating every champion in his way
I wonder if the 9-11 events is why he got out of boxing. He only had 1 fight after 9-11. Said he would come back. Though he did say it was due to hand injury and spending time with his family. Just a thought because remember think back at 9-11 alot of Americans where litterally scared and hated Muslims he would have gotten no support at the time. Just a thought.
£50million in the bank is why he retired... and struggling to make weight
He would have just fought in England or Europe, if that was even the case. Not that 9-11 had anything to do with his retirement.
it was more like £50m
Just a theory off the top of my head as in Dry humor. Smoke some weed relax.
good point
The black guy in the background made that interview because of him taking the piss when Naz had his back turned 😂
Prince Naz should have fought mayweather at the catch weight and beat him. 49-1
😂😂😂😂 the most stupid shit I ever heard
I think, at super feather, I might have beaten floyd
'he'😂
I thought I was watching Ali G there for a moment I thought it was a pi55take..
When Naz and Mayweather meet up , Mayweather acts like he admires Naz
Prince naseen aka clown Naseem... If it is written to be it then shall be the only clown of boxing...he does not deserve a name in boxing maybe the movies is a better alley for him it is enough Barrera gave it to him. I could have been on his side if he really praised his God with a humble heart I could have chéred for a boxer who is humble.
i think so but i like him so much
Naseem you are my idol
he was a featherweight but hit like a middleweight
With a chin of bantamweight

His sense for boxing is just so right, with the jab etc, incredible talent and all natural, people liked to see that!
He still is the best no one will ever come close to him he was so far advanced absolute legend he was like lighting the foot work was on another plant 👑
Ali G is a boxer?
Yeah okay mate.... fought one decent opponent (barrera) in his entire career and got his ass handed to him easily! Fraud was this guy. Eventually got found out.
Drinking Tea like a true Brit haha
Naseem at his best would have beat barrera. There were so many things wrong with naseems camp, he had just got over a serious fracture of his hand, a long long lay of with the injury and then 2 stone of weight gain! He was offered the fight, and took it without a tune up and without appropriate time to loose weight.
Its a shame, I know naseem wasn't everyones cup of tea but lets be realistic, he was one of the greatest talents, or should I say waste of talent ever seen in boxing!
I loved watching Prince Naz growing up. However, Lennox is the best British boxer of all time. Bar none. And I'm not forgetting Joe Calzaghe in that consideration. It's still Lennox.
True legend some boxer his hands where fast ta
This was filmed during his training camp for Barrera! It didn't work out to well for him!😂😂😂😂
True story
As soon as Hamed left the Ingles and took on Emmanuel Stewart as his coach he was never as good!
Stewart tried to mould him into a more orthodox boxer. Which was a mistake. The whole reason Naz was beating everyone was because he was unorthodox., using his reflexes to avoid punches, keeping a nice, loose hands down, relaxed style, which ultimately added power to his punches!
, drinking tea like a true english gent. lol
Nas is better then barrara still ,,
+Moe Khalaf LMFAO How you fucking idiot,Barrera would his ass every way shape or form
Learn to type before insulting people. And Naseem was way better than Barrera on his good days. Plus, how you gonna say Barrera kicked his ass every way, shape and form when Barrera only won by points...not to mention, it wasn't by a lot of points either.
actually it was 115 to 112 is huge
it may not be huge in football but thats huge in boxing just as it is in baseball.
and giampa had 111-116 thats an ass whoopin. of course not to mention he almost knocked prince down multiple times. and was fucking him up with the 4 punch combo jab jab right n left overhand that landed the whole fight.
he fought a bunch of fuckin tomato cans .. his record and knockout percentage is the epitome of "inflation" .. not hating #justsayin .. if you a real boxing stiff you know whats good, this clown got exposed ..
Imagine, Pacquio, Morales, Marquez, Barrera.... knocking the him around like a ping ball...Common SENSE..... Leave the boxing to the real men...go play with with your herd of sheep little KAMEL!!
After the sweet science of boxing, Naz moved onto the sweet science of obesity no disrespect.
His reflexes were like he was hard wired to a switch in the grid ! Razor sharp every time 👌
A genius, the best ever to come out of the UK. I wish I could go back to these days...sensational time!
Why didnt he go back to prove barrera wrong!!!
YO SÓLO SÉ QUE A BARRERA LE DICEN EL DOMADOR DE CAMELLOS.
@Raiton45 I agree. Take this as an Example of that. When Floyd Mayweather fought victor Ortiz he was landing lead right hands and left hooks as well as combinations in some rounds and the punches seemed to have no effect what so ever on Victor. But in the moment that he did not see the punches coming was when he got laid out. that demonstrates that saying is true. If you can land a quick hard shot during the fight that your opponent doesn't see you might be able to knock almost anyone out.
He was a character for sure, great talent
shit footwork
shit balance
very little technical ability
no jab
a hard punch
worked vs tomato cans and got a scare and a half vs a finished kelly.
came up vs a true world class fighter in barrera and well…embarrassing really.
great pr and sky money can take you a long way!
p.s. even his cornerman maurice was laughin behind his back, regarding his chin.
funny guy though.
Yes that makes wayne mccullough , kevin kelly and all the world champs he beat shit too, barrera got him on his decline when he lost the love for boxing n wasnt training but still when 12 rounds with him, keep hating but hes done more for boxing than your words could ever do.
you’re actually calling mccollough and kelly great fighters?? kelly was finished and came within a whisker of beating him when your champ had the “love of boxing”, and mccollough is who exactly in the grand scheme of things? barrera taught him a boxing lesson and didn’t knock him out as he @@zq1800 wasn’t a reknowned puncher moving up in weight from fly to bantam and then featherweight.
that’s a new one i’ve heard: “lost the love of boxing” lol.
what’s next? you’ll be callin amir kon a great boxer because he had fast hands?? lol fool
This was in camp for Barrera and he lost lmao
I loved watching him.

He was exceptional and he punched way above his weight.

wicked entertainer naz aint no one like you since you left the sport
here is one of the biggest clowns int he history of boxing
It was an Irish man that taught Naz everything he knows.
🇮🇪💣💨
London Irish indeed. The great Mr Ingle.
Nah. Nas was beating school bullies in the playground before. He was a natural fighter
Naz said Brendan taught him the basics and everyone at the gym copied Harold Graham style of evading and moving around plus he watched Ali religiously and molded his own style
@goldeneagle379
This is his house. I remember watching this documentary on uk tv at the time and he was showing around his house and this was part of it.
Sanchez Def. would of taken Hamed out, and Morales def. would win against him in his prime. Naz was very good, not great but very good.
One of the greatest simple 🇬🇧💪

Did he not go to jail twice?
Barrera was the king of boxing vs a clown
agreed but the guy had talent
legend
That's a fcking sweet crib
a true legend!
But Beretta dismantled him
true science indeed
@Rebelconformist82 yep, as soon as he lost he quit, a real champ would want a rematch to prove himself, this guy was a punk who hand picked shitty opponents
I'm still waiting to laugh and the video is finished your idea and my idea of very funny must watch are poles apart lol now that's funny
Some people take shit loads of power and many many punches to the chin and dont get knocked out. Most of us will get knocked out though.
brilliant. morris that is!

1:34 Da fuck!!!
Is he out of breath for showing ups 2 seconds of shadow boxing!
Anyway enjoyed his style even though it was unstable...
im not sure where your going with this , are you saying hameds style was no good ? his style was all his , ali had a style that was only his to. as for a level fighters he was champion for 5 years solid , are you saying he fought nobody's until barrera , even the great ali lost , barrera was better on the day , but he was not the better boxer , again its all about opinions , respect .
No hate but with his style, 2 years ago if he fight any A level fighter the same consequence will happen just like barrera toying with him. I mean c'mon man??? Barerra toy hamed the whole fight! Whether you are great or not, to get toy like this because his heart is with his family and not in it? He tried the best he can. If he have the signature of greatness he would at least win a round?? Not even 1 good round toward barerra? Maybe he does think about his family alot to not win a round. Peace.
like i said in my first comment , if hamed fought barrera 2 year before they met, he have ko d him out , hamed had just started a famly and his heart was not in it anymore , hence no real comeback , i also like barrera he was a great , , its all about opinions tho .
make no mistake naz hamed was fkn brilliant flyin carpet an all . if he got to barrera 2 years before they met he would have knocked him out , also to all the bams out there who say hamed was pish , YOU CANT BE WORLD CHAMPION FOR 5 YEARS AND BE PISH . respect .
