Believe me, this is a fraction of my reality. As I don’t get to share everything about my life. Amidst my transparency, I know the extent I wish to go with my content creation.
In addition to the aforementioned, if I wanted to make my life appear to be all rosy and beautiful, I could do that effortlessly with my content creating & editing skills.

Men handle things differently especially when he feels it’s his responsibility to sort things out .. and during these times too, you should put your phone down and be present in person…. For example, you could have helped with the last Bagage, but you waited for him to come pick it up… he’s stressed mentally and you need to put the phone down and be in the present with him .. what you deem as little isn’t little to the other .. and also do not use general scenarios for your relationship… the fact that people separate in the diaspora don’t mean you should think along those lines … put the phone down and be in the present babe.. you are a wife now
Someone finally typed my thoughts. Being present in the moment is a form of showing empathy too. I'm watching some incident happen and I'm like girl now's not the time to make videos. The videos is a part of making money yes, but something's ought to come first.

I was 19 years old when I came to the UK 😭 and I remember everything that I went through but today I look back and smile. Whatever you do, please allow God to be the steering wheel in your life. All the best to you and your husband. My advice to you, in this country, please don’t involve any 3rd parties in your marriage or relationship. Avoid having many friends.

I love how real this vlog is. When people just relocate, people back home think they are already enjoying.
Relocation and settling is not an easy task especially moving with tons of luggage and children.
When you feel overwhelmed, breath in and out, chew the harsh words about to jump out your mouth and always remember your spouse is also stressed and is thinking of how best to navigate a hurdle too. Don't let the devil in. You both are a team. It has worked for me countless times.

Misunderstanding should not be treated as normal or celebrated (yes, it will DEFINITELY happen), but as much as possible avoid it.
Support each other... Understand each other's plight...
It can really be nerve tightening when things are taking unexpected turns... However, it's at this point you need each other the most.
This may not even be the time to defend your rights...
When one is raising voice, the other should bring it low.
Imagine the comfort of having each other...
You're already tensed... Don't make it more difficult for yourself.
Small misunderstanding can be avoided.
It's not going to be easy keeping quiet when the other is throwing tantrum.
But, the two of you should not be throwing tantrum at the same time!
Think of the aftermath of your misunderstanding (if you give in) and try to hold it in...
Most times, what the other person is doing or saying is from the place of the pain they are feeling, not because they hate you or think they can rub on you anyhow.
Try and understand from their perspective and let misunderstanding pass over.

I can relate to what you guys are going through, i and my husband got to the uk last Saturday and we have been fighting since that weekend, we got to reconcile last night, the mental, physical and financial stress of moving to a new environment is exhausting. When you are going through a stressful transition it’s very normal to fight over small things in a relationship.
I have been married 20 years this still happens sometimes even now.
Though it gets easier as you know each other’s triggers.
What you are going through is very normal.
Don’t take it to heart.
Your challenges are just starting it will get better and you will be tried again in your relationship.
Such is life, if you are not tested you are not on solid ground.

Aw feel like giving you a hug Kosy. Having a misunderstanding under stress while trying to settle in a different country hits different - but with the strength, wisdom and grace of God, you can always move past it. I say this because I do a lot of relationship videos. Going forward it'll help if you both work out a way of resolving misunderstandings so that one person doesn't feel all the burnt especially as you're both in a new country trying to settle and make good memories here. You'll be alright, It'll only strengthen your relationship. You've got each other and God's got you too.
I think it will also really help if you both try to connect to a local Nigerian church (there's a few I can suggest), that way, when you need guidance or have random questions (which will happen till you're more familiar with things here), you'll always have lots of people to reach out to so as not to struggle i.e you would have been able to call DG Taxis or Nottingham Cars to help with bigger luggage's instead of Uber (and may have avoided the misunderstanding), but we all learn everyday. I live in Nottingham as well as I'm happy to be of help if needed. Glad it all worked out for you both with the Apartment, Congratulations.
Please hold on dear. Do not give up. It is hard now but things will get better. Abroad is not rosey but overtime you will reap the rewards gradually 😘

I totally and completely understand what you are going through. I stayed in an Airbnb with my husband for 3 months like 3 whole months moving from one to another. At some point we had to go drop our bags with a friend. It was super crazy, I won’t even lie and the friction between myself and my husband just compounded the issue. Maybe we can do a collaboration because it was just stressssssssful but in the end, it ended in praise. I love that you shared this reality, well done

When I saw where you left your luggage my heart dropped. People do steal in the UK. But everything is a learning curve, one day you will both look back and laugh.
Well, it isn’t easy but please drop the phone when needed to. Especially while carrying those luggage. I think it’s unnecessary to film that process when you are supposed to lend a hand

Don't be upset, it's not easy for a foreigner to settle down in another country. I have been there and I was thrown out after three months of stay by the a cousin of a friend of mine in Nigeria who l was introduced to live in the UK. But at current,l am living in my own house. Glory be to God.🙏

Hi Tosi, moving into a new country especially one that has a lot of differences can be so stressful. I moved into the UK last year with my family as well, and trust me I honestly considered divorce in the first few months 😅. I was super depressed and overwhelmed so u can imagine. But as soon as we were able to get our own place, trust me everything fell into place like nothing ever happened lol. This is my first time on your channel. To me been in a new country and trying to find your way around is a big stress on its own. I understand his feelings though. you mentioned that he was upset that you left the luggage unattended to that alone added to his stress and he snaps at every little thing. I feel like there’s a lot of time to vlog and show your subscribers around your new environment, but for now your baby needs your undivided attention to feel the fresh breeze of a new country.. My 1 pence, never give room when there is a rift or misunderstanding between you both, the earlier and quicker you resolve issues the stronger you become. Take it from someone who has small 12 years of learning and many more years to learn. You should understand that he's agitated because he is thinking more of you not getting the best of what he thought he should be easily giving you at this point (based on what he planned for you) be patient, kind, supportive, and cherish each other even when upset.

This is very normal when moving to this UK. It's a terrible experience especially accomodation. Took us 3 months to settle. At some point staying in village far from our work places with no proper transport. But when it all connects you will just laugh. You are blessed to have settled before winter because then the stress level increases!
