I updated too and found that my trusted HL1430 laser would not work. I got around it by setting up an unused Raspberry Pi as a printer server. I just put it in a "headless" box and added an Off switch. Works well. Embarrassing to have to use a £25 Pi to help a £1000+ PC....
My Win 7 wrecked down because of HD.I went to Win8.1 /had legal upgrade /.But my old ,,Brother mfc-7360N" didn't connected because the new upgrade didn't accept the driver. Then I went to Win10,....same sit. Preventively ordered brand new DELL Inspiron 3880 with Win 11, the same story guys. Just I'm wondering were is going this world?
Well, the thing is, the printers were built for a range of Operating Systems only. If you change operating systems that is your choice, there is no obligation on the printer company to update their driver. However, Brother did for your printer support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=as_ot&lang=en&prod=mfc7360_as_cn

I have a brother mfc-7840w. Brother website only has Windows 10 driver. I cannot send scan commands to the printer using control center 3.
