His gloves are the same as Father Gascoigne, his suit and pants are those of the Foreign Set, and he’s wearing the hide of a cleric beast. This is a man who found his identity in the Healing Church upon moving to Yharnam. Not a Yharnamite by blood, his entire existence is in faithful devotion to the protection of the church’s image and nothing else! He hides his face from the world behind that skin, creating the illusion of a savage when his mind is *disgustingly* clear and lucid. He’s steeped in the blood of innocents and guilty alike, all in the name of protecting the only place he’s welcomed in the city he’s come to live in. The horns and skin be wear are all those of Laurence, peeled off the First Vicar’s body when they were down in the Chalice Dungeons and Laurence’s imbibement in the Beasthood rune took its toll. The skull which Amelia prays to? That’s Laurence’s skull, ripped out of his head and made into a holy object like the skull of real world saints. There’s nowhere better to hunt and be hunted, than in the Nightmare, yet he says it’s *odd* for you to be a hunter. And when he asks you if you hear the bell, he’ll call you a liar when you say you do, before he’ll come to plead that you leave the nightmare. He calls you petty, arrogant, then pleads that you return to your hunt. This isn’t a guy who wants to spend time with people, why’s he being so familiar with you? Why’s he being so concerned over your well being? Why is he putting forth the effort when you’re seemingly nobody to him?!
He really is the worlds number one Cleric Beast cosplayer. It takes a bold man to not only say that Cleric Beast is his favourite boss but also to cosplay as it and I can respect that.
