in the first example, when you were calculating H2O used/recovered acetone, doesnt one need to use the % of H2O that is going to the distillation column, L2? so calculation would be 0.81(221.05)/0.99(34.9)?

I think the numerator should be L1, which is the water used to absorb Ac. It said L1 also in the required, but L2 was used. Perhaps a mistake?
