Guys puntahan nyo nga yang sisig... nakakahiya yang pang scam nila ha... unless ang binigay sa kanila ay yung pulutan at hindi yung parang budget sisig meal na may rice. Dpat inexplain nila sa turista.
Wow it's a great video as I see them as if I'm with you doing the tour as well since I've not been to that places. The lady is beautiful and looks like she is a filipina?
We do still have our license as we are still tourists for now. Ontario allows online renewal and submit your own photo now so technically it's not hard but we can get Philippines license soon as our ACR cards arrive very soon. But yes Boracay is super hard to get registeration here. Electric is kind of the only way to go.
I love watching your vlogs. It makes me missing boracay island even more. I noticed that you had changed your name from Love Travels to That Philippines Life. That's nice name 😊
New to your channel guys! You too are amazing adventurer.. Good you chose Philippines to visit and explore what we have here in our country. Lots of delicious food and beautiful beaches. After i watch the episode of Searching for her Filipino relatives, never thought i have watched already your other videos. You both fun and nice to watch in all your videos. A piece of advise, some of Filipinos, especially those vendors, or sales person, some are opportunist too foreigner in terms asking for payment, be aware of the real prices when you buy something.. Others double or triple the price of the Items you bought.. Because they know your foreigner. Just be careful and be wise in dealing with them. You can demand your rights. They will be ashamed of what they do if you notice their wrong. 😄Just be smart and alert to of snatchers.
A perfect date vlog.. Hope both of you enjoyed the date.. You guys deserve a break like these days.. When did you start eating with your hands like a true local..
i think the sisig menu Php99 with rice is a budget meal serving, the Php180 billing is an a la carte (on a large quantity)... The attendant did not explain it correctly or must have misunderstood your order.
Tip about the calamansi: Use the fork to filter the seeds of the calamansi when you squeeze it over the food. You don't want to eat the seeds as they are bitter.
@@BiancaBeyond Another advise: Mix the food well after squeezing the calamansi so that the taste of the calamansi is well distributed and not just on the part where you squeezed the calamansi. This is true for all the food where you squeezed a calamansi on the food.
Hi guys, i always enjoy watching your vlogs, and hope to see you soon here in iloilo, About the sisig being 99 pesos only, it usually comes in a very small plate with 1 rice which is very small, so the one you ordered is 1 platter which the price is reasonable, a whole platter of sisig usually cost, 150 to 250 pesos but depending on the store. Anyways love you both.
I'm enjoying your vlogs. Thank you very much for appreciating the beauty of the Philippines. It's "Kalamansi", right it's the Philippines lemon. You can mix it with soy sauce as "sawsawan" and also with pancit. Always have safe travel. GOD Bless!
The grocery store has a delicious Lemon grass whole chicken you can take home. At least they did before pandemic. In the exit area on right side if exiting past check out register. As a foreigner just wanted to mention. It's reasonable priced
P240 wow! I miss those prices. Cinema tickets in Manila has risen dramatically since the pandemic. Pre-pandemic a good movie house would be P350 to P500. Now it's at least P400 to P600. Are the cinemas there any good? Dolby Atmos, lazyboy, 4D or any of that?
man, you made me hungry and crave for that porl sisig. I love that raw oysters! chicken teriyaki? hmmm i eat it every time. Butter shrimps i love it ! Man you made me starving !
The Filipino lemon is called Calamasi. I use that a lot when cooking it goes great with just about everything. I get the bottled juice here cause the only place I can get the actual calamansi is in Mississauga and it is very expensive. That is not a service charge that is what some call skin tax. You are not Filipino you pay extra but to be honest if they have the price posted that is what you should pay. So far I have always paid the price posted but have yet to try buying where there is no price posted. Will see what happens when I get there
@@BiancaBeyond here in the UK cinemas are competing with each other and they tried to encourage people to watch films at the cinema again so they got this promo you pay a certain amount and you can watch films unlimited monthly. As for my subscription I only pay £14.99 monthly and I can watch any films I want unlimited 😍😉 that's cool isn't it?
I love watching your videos everydaaaaaaaay ❤️ I just realised that you changed your channel name to "That Philippines Life", which I think is great, although I suggest to remove 's' in the Philippines coz in this context you are using Philippines (noun) to describe Life, therefore it should be Philippine (adjective relating to the Philippines) making it "That Philippine Life". Just a suggestion. But overall great content and more power to you guys! ❤️✨️
@@BiancaBeyond oh wow okay. UA-cam is weird. Anyway, my family and I are coming to visit Boracay in August, I'm really hopeful to see you both thereeeeee. ✨️✨️✨️
Michael, if you are being overcharged...DO NOT PAY IT, please. Let them know you LIVE local and you're not tourists. Not even other places charge 80 peso server fee for a 99 peso item...that's crazy. Say No Thanks...nevermind and walk away.
@@RED_WIRE It's a tourist tax.....and will always charge non-filipino tourists higher because most of the time it's not a lot of money and people will just pay it to avoid a hassle. This isn't just in the PH btw...it happens all over.
We had already eaten it and I inquired pointing to the sign. Only then her said service charge. It was too late to walk away and we are not looking for rouble either
I have gotten to a point in my life where I don't go for places with live bands and/or loud music. Reaally not conducive for a good, relaxing conversation and well, digestion. LOL
@@BiancaBeyond Oh yeah. I'm glad they have kept those (so far lol). But I guess I should've mentioned that there's barely or no consolation at all when you've been to the island in the old days like I have. Back in the 80s and earlier, it was a virgin island. At sunset, all beachfront businesses and property owners would go out at the same time and light torches in front of their property so the path could be lit. And when you walked along the shore, your foot prints light up, thanks to the luminescent plankton. These tiny creatures also swim around you when you go night swimming so it's like swimming in a galaxy! Ah, the quiet, uncomplicated virgin island life! Hahaha!
Hmmm i think that's not a street food kind of food for us. Most of drinkers call it as " Pulutan". Also it's a main course for us as a filipino meal if u add with rice
I'm 52. I saw Top Gun 1 .... in 1988, was it? It was ok. Not that great. So, it would be interesting to see Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise in their aging years, hahahahah! I hope to catch it here in Dumaguete City soon.
