- This is a video about my journey around Lago di Garda in Italy in September, 2023.
This happened three months before the unfortunate landslide that caused a long term closure of the area Strada della Forra.
This time it wasn't a solo ride. I rode together with a beginner rider, Chris.

Very beautiful view of the lake. For the CB500X is not safe to ride on steep dirt track, because you cannot disconnect the ABS. I think that's what caused the panic on that turn, the bike wouldn't stop with the ABS on.

Yes, we had a little issue with the Honda and the ABS on gravel with beginner adventure rider. It was risky indeed.
We tackled it slow and steady! :D
This way fortunately nothing bad happened.

Cool Video, very nice to see the TET in the Garda region. Im living in Switzerland but originaly from Val Venosta. I will do the eastern TET in Summer. btw i have the same tablet on my tuareg but i use DMD2 as offroad navigation app 😊

I was super lucky to visit this spectacular area just a few months before the landslide. So sad what happened, I hope nobody was hurt and the cliffside isn't too much damaged. ✋😔

Thank you, it was awesome indeed! ^^ I am not sure about the mirror brand, I think it's a noname one you can find on the Amazon or Ebay. I bought it from - Off-The-Road - German website, they sell it as self brand foldable mirror.

Honestly, your tires are crap (for off-road)!
Well... there are better tires for sure, but I wouldn't say the Pirelli MT21 RallyCross is "crap" for off road - even ItchyBoots (Noraly) uses it on her long tours.
Let's say, it's a bit weak for these big enduro-style bikes, but still pretty good compared to the OEM tire.
Also, definitely worse - for off road - than any motocross tire, that's true. =)
Distorted footage makes it bad to watch. I hate fish eye effects.
Yeah, usually it is, especially if you are making some relaxing, soft scenes, tender music and slow movement videos. But I think here is kinda part of the genre. Maybe I overused a bit, but to be honest, it just represents how much dizzy I was seeing so much beautiful areas while riding my motorbike. Braap and dizzy. =)

A nice ride. I drove the Strada Della Forra in 2022 and 2023. In the area, the road to d'Idro and the Passo Maniva and Croce Domini are great. Been doing this for 27 years on my own BMW out of Canada. 240 different passes in the Alps from France to Slovenia including Corsica. Best riding in the world.
