This won't happen on pro controller only switch lite and joy cons have this issue
how about charging while playing? since the new version consume less power, it should charge to 100% faster compare to old version while playing... but the question is how much faster is that?
That's a hard choice. Depends on the games you like and how you play, if you like zelda, mario and nintendo titles and you like to play ANYWHERE (handheld) then get a switch. If you always play on your TV and like COD, red dead, and other big titles that switch doesnt have, then get a PS4

Battery pack or a power bank works, there are one power bank that give you 30k mah that's mean your switch can runs nearly a weeks but pack works just fine eventhough the mAh is under 10k
@@cuphead7100Yes I actually played the game on max setting... A friend of mine played max settings BOTW for 4 hours 47 minutes other person I know played 4 hours 28 minutes so far my console has lasted the longest.
It’s sad that v1 takes longer to charge then to play with with it it’s like me waiting for the best roller coaster ride for 1 hour for a 2 min experience
Sorry for being late to the party, but question: would you say the change in battery life is worth it? I'm planning on modding and getting an older unpatched switch would save a lot of hassle if it's worth it.
If you see more benefit in modding then get the old version. Make sure the seal # is unpatched before you get it, it might also cost more than a brand new switch

Bruh can't you just turn the sleep timer off in settings so you don't have to stand by the switches that long. Update: Tapping the screen won't affect BOTW to keep the screen bright.

Its actually the Exact same Battery. The V2 has more efficient processors and other components. Both units charge from 0 to 100% at the same time.
