It is certainly a better app than the default camera for video.
You can do the finger sliding on the normal camera app, I find it easier than pinching anyway. Can do it it one finger
Final Cut Camera is just so great for people like me who wants to record non-ProRes H.265 footage directly to an SSD, and don’t know what to toggle in the Black Magic Cam app. It’s much easier to record good looking footage in the Final Cut Camera app.
I want to really like Final Cut camera, but I’ve had a few issues where the app (when I’m plugged into an external microphone) makes my audio sound like a chipmunk and de syncs it. Not sure why this happens, but it’s ruined a few video clips for me that I can’t go back and get
in my experience iOS has problems under the hood with how it reports audio samplerate. Sometimes it depends on the order of operation. Does it still do this for you if you plug the external microphone in AFTER you load up FCC?
it's terrible! when I record my videos in 4K60 with my iPhone XS, it tends to make the Audio delayed by 10 seconds. if anyone here doesn't believe me, I've made a video about that on my channel to prove it.
Perhaps the issue is that you’re still using and iPhone XS😂😂😂

Naw dude, how are you gonna claim that clunkily using a pinch gesture, covering your screen, to zoom is "better" than a single finger slider that *doesn't* obstruct your view and force you to hold the phone with one hand?
