@@julieduke7279 Thank you! I love journaling about my knitting and I am sure you will love it too. My top tip to make it great is adding some details about your life experiences connected to the project. Who gave you the yarn or where you shopped for it or if you knitted it on a trip somewhere…so it becomes much more than a Ravelry project. And for the aesthetic, make sure you do not stress too much. There will be pretty pages and not so pretty ones, but it’s like life, good days and bad ones, but never fake it 😉 thanks so much for watching and for letting me inspire you xx
Thank you Sylvia! I am always quite excited about my journal in January, then, as I said, I may run out of time and energy to keep up with all the pages but I am quite relaxed about that. Have a great day xx
Really nice to see how you set up your journal. I started using a knitting notebook last year for the first time and I've found it so helpful. You've given some good ideas of pages to include and I like the idea of starting a new book for the new year.
How exciting! I am sure your journal will be fabulous. You are so creative and talented. I hope I will manage to see some of your pages eventually. Thanks for your message ❤️
Loved seeing your spreads! I found a pile of barely used visual diaries from high school art classes that I was thinking to repurpose into some crafting journals.
A great episode,Daniela👌🙏I started a new one too( not as pretty as yours🤭).I have a page for each project and include the usual plus a sample of yarn used,a sketch. Each week I choose 6 projects to work on and check off daily if I did something on it.Have a list of projects Id like to try in future.Interesting podcasts to watch.( Yours is a must! )and any tips I glean on yarn choice, gauge, resources available.Use it everyday.👌Ciao👋Have a good week.xx♥️🐨🌏xx
Thankyou Daniela. Only last year I considered starting a project journal and didn't. This year I have started but mine is measly compared to your artistic record! You have inspired me to get a bigger notebook and get creative. My info is basic but I now have lots of ideas 💡 Loved this episode 🙏🧡🧶🧵
Great inspiration, Dany! Have you thought of knitting Joji's newly released Milton cardigan. I can see you wearing and knitting it. So light, airy and so elegant. Perfect wearing in Perth's climate! x
I know, Lynn, that’s a very good one too! It would be a great garment to wear here, I agree. Another one for my inspiration pages. Thanks for watching, my dear, and for the suggestion xxx
Thank you so much for this episode - I also love my knitting journal - where do you buy your stickers ? When I find some stickers they don’t send to Denmark😢
Thank you for sharing your journal - it's lovely! I've often thought about starting one but I have quite a few wips that carry on to the next year - what do you do then? Do you start another project page? Are you also using Ravelry for your projects?
Thanks so much for your comment. For wips brought into the new year I just do what feels right in the moment. I have made a new page for the painting bricks shawl, but may not make a new one for another one, and just record its completion in the month by month pages…I try not to give myself many rules and just play it by ear. I do use Ravelry when I manage to talk myself into doing it, as quite frankly I don’t like Ravelry for anything but pattern search. Anyway, most of my projects do end up on Ravelry…eventually 😜 have a lovely day and happy knitting! Xx
I love your approach to your journal Daniela! It looks so joyful and fun! Thank you for sharing and for the inspiration 💗
Thanks so much to you for watching and your kind words xx
I was so happy to see more in-depth info of your knitting journal. I’m inspired to start my own now. Thankyou Dani.

I have all my projects on Ravelry but I like the idea of the journal being a more creative way of recording them
