This is an AMAZING video showing everything you need to set up one of these cars. I hope it becomes the benchmark for 4s vehicle setup for newbies as it mentions all the little things that you don't always consider, like checking loctite and tightening the diffs opposite screw at a time.

That hole in the bottom where the gear is will bring in a lot of dirt I had sand in the bearings after the first run so I taped it up. I would just run it and enjoy it no need for all those parts but the center diff yes!! Mine was dry and diffing out bad added fluid 500k as per Arrma (actually warrantied it sent fluid and bearings) and it drives great now. Check inside the gear box after you run in some sand or loose dirt check the bearings and good luck its a fun rc.

    • @ChriswithaCrc

Hey buddy , well I’ve always done this hole with my 3s and 4s Arrma with some great success to be honest I personally think it was great of Arrma to look at little changes the public has done and implement them .
As you say 500k works great in the centre diff the truck feels so planted now .

THAT hole is there for a reason to let the dirt out not in. without the hole the bearings get fckd fast. the momentum of the sour gear will sling all the dirt out believe me...most cars hace a slot on the bottom for that reason

Hey buddy thanks for watching ok few main differences are
V2 colours are - blue and teal
V2.5 colours are - red and neon green
      Second difference is
      V2 has a slipper clutch
      V2.5 has a centre differential
      Also
V2 no mud guards and higher front chassis guards
      V2.5 has both
      Also
V2 has older spektrum esc which is black and orange
V2.5 has brand new esc which is black and grey
Plus points the newer has a new servo the spektrum S662

I have the 4s kraton v2.5 as well. My brother has the v2. And man his does wheelies everwhere and feels to have so much more power wirh the slipper. I emails arrma. They said to check the centwr diff but they said it takes 10k weight. Should i just get some 500k and fill it up? I want it to hit harder. Seems like it diffs out easy.

    • @ChriswithaCrc
      @ChriswithaCrc  4 місяці тому

Hey buddy , it most definitely does not take 10k in the centre diff !
The stock fluids are as follows
      10k front
      500k centre
      10k rear
      This is stock
How if you want to go further than 500k your going to need to up the diff fluid to 600k or further
I’ve heared that some used 1 million but that’s way too much for me .
It would stick with stock 500k
