I did the same thing you did around the same exact time and switched from Uber to Lyft in Washington, D.C………Uber used to be good but it is now garbage. Lyft is much more busy and the pay is much better.
Sir with all do respect. Lyft does have Trip Radar. They just dont promote it! I just got a ride, to get the person 8 miles away. Basically same thing Uber is doing with they say Trip Radar.

Switching to Lyft only too
Uber is still better than Lyft during busy times. You get payed on uber when waiting in traffic vs lyft.
Lyft is nice when it's quiet since they keep having bonuses. Uber surges more often and bigger too
