It's cool to watch someone's first reaction to somewhere you live/can easily go. Ben Brown & Steve Booker were in Alberta this winter and last summer and his videos were amazing. Sometimes he sounded like a kid in a candy store when seeing all the amazing things the Rocky Mountains have to offer. I was just in Jasper this weekend - ahh the mountains.
If you are looking for some more beautiful places to see then, as a local to British Columbia, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend visiting Whistler, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island on your travels of West Canada. You will NOT be sorry!! Absolutely the most breath-taking nature and city landscapes you could ever imagine. Enjoy your stay, Louis!!
Louis EVERYTIME you do a cinematic view of the nature wherever you are in the world I just lose my breathe and I just zone out everytime I see it and I just want to cry because it's so beautiful. Nature is such a blessing to have in our world it is amazing one day I hope to see sights like these with my own eyes and not through a computer screen! Please don't stop the cinematic nature shots that you do please! Now that I'm on this rant about nature it's just breaks my heart that people ruin it with pollution :(...

ever since i watched steve and ben's alberta vlogs some time ago i absolutely love looking at alberta vlogs the place seem absolutely breathtaking i'm excited to watch more of em!!
Compared to the other vloggers I watch, yes. He is the best, he doesn't just throw footage together throughout his day and upload it. He puts music and slow motion and make to feel like you're experiencing his adventure along with him.
It warm in Calgary/Banff, even below freezing. It has been an early spring for sure, there should be more snow for April. I was in Jasper (a national park in the Rockies north of Banff) and there was zero snow and ice which is very odd for the beginning of April. April would be the worse month to come to Alberta. Spring = brown. May the grass will be green and trees will start to leaf out. Or come in February when it's still winter and we're covered in a blanket of white snow sparkling in the sun.
There's something about hiking vlogs that I just enjoy watching! I would have been SUPER scared to slide down the icy trail even though it looks like a lot of fun!

I had a huge smile on my face watching this. I have tons of fond memories of the tame chipmunks and Johnson's canyon hikes. Ohh banff is a beautiful place:) I love recognizing where you go it makes the vlogs a lot more fun to watch.

I just moved to Canmore and it's weird seeing Louis visiting the same places I've been! I also tweeted him to visit the restaurant where I work, but I guess he's moved on to snowboarding in Banff.
This was interesting to watch because I have only been to Johnston in the summer. Cool to see the ice and stuff. I'm sorry about the ski conditions when you go.. Winter isn't going as planned in the Rocky Mountains.
You must see Athabasca Falls and the Columbia Icefields (Icefields Parkway) if possible! Beautiful scenery makes for wonderful shots. Was just there last week, little road trip up from Edmonton. Glad you're visiting our province!

If you are skiing or snowboarding I highly suggest Sunshine Village. You should definitely take the Delirium Dive hike and check out the amazing views. Was there yesterday and today and they got 48cm overnight.
I think the snow is just about done here in lower Michigan. Since I like snow, I am sad to see it go. But I'm also super excited for Spring. Watching this video got me daydreaming. I really hope to visit some national parks someday.

Yes I've worked in Jasper, this time of year is very unpredictable, can be all over the place, sunny and fairly warm or snowing.
