I was expecting this to be The Jolly Rogers' song of the same name, but very nice rendition of that lesser-known shanty. More peaceful and soothing than the usual sea shanty roared out in deep four-part harmony. I still love that, but this was pleasantly unique.
This song is a delight! I found it while searching for a shanty from Moby Dick, and while I never did find "Eight bells there forward," I'm much too happy about finding this treasure trove of folk songs to be upset about that. If you're still looking at comments on old videos, I must ask: I'm comprising a collection of poems and old songs for physical binding for my own and my mother's bookshelf, and would like to credit you properly, since its thanks to you that I found so many new ones. May I know your last name, Dave?

Lovely song, but why is the image flipped left-to-right?
