Very cool video. My family and I are going to Zermatt for Christmas this year and this has shown some things to do like sledding and how expensive the food is so we can plan our trip. Come to Australia sometime as well, it's a lot cheaper. Keep up the good videos
Restaurants are definitely expensive (even Mc Donald's compared to US standards) so the cheapest way is to buy your food at Migros (cheaper than Coop) and cook yourself. Hope you'll have a great time, greetings from Switzerland 😃
Interesting perspective on Zermatt. I assume this type of environment is relatively new to you and your family and I applaud your exploration of things out of your comfort zone. Reminds me of when I went to Beijing (from Colorado, USA). New experiences. It saddens me that the cost was prohibitive for you to explore the swiss cuisine (raclette, fondu, Gluwein, and all the rest) and had to stick with McDonalds and cheap Migros noodles. Next time save up for a fondue meal!
I appreciate your comment! We only have summer in Singapore, so yes definitely a new environment for us. We did manage to try fondue when we were in Wengen instead as there were more affordable options. Zermatt had limited options hence we stuck w McDonalds
@@bykkai The crazy thing is that McDonalds is still very expensive here... If you ever come back, check out Migros and Coop restaurants, they're usually a good and cheap alternative.
I am going there. I am planning on the breakfast at the hotel and then a loaf of bread and make some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Fluffunutters too. And peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
Hello Bro, first of all great videos u have there. I finished binge watched all of em edy. Secondly, may I know where was this apartment you stayed in Zermat and how much was the rate per night like in this video? I planned to travel there this December. Thanks in advance
Going to Switzerland in December and I was wondering how much you paid for the train to the mountain top next to the Matterhorn. I am not interested in skiing but I want to get that view and I'm not sure whether to pay or not for that train considering that the train to the top of Europe for instance (in Lauterbrunnen) costs around 200 CHF. But chances are you might have paid 10 CHF considering how varied the prices can be in touristy areas...
Hi, came across your video, very helpful for my upcoming trip. Would like to check did you travel from Milan to Zermatt? Did you book train ticket in advance of buy on the day itself? TIA
Hi there!! Do you mind sharing which apartment you stayed in? My family is planning a trip to Zermatt this December and we wanna stay in an apartment too!! Really enjoyed watching your vlog btw!! ☺️
I can't exactly remember the name of the apartment but it's in the shopping complex directly opposite the train station. You could try finding it via airbnb. Glad you liked the video!

What’s the mode of payment? Is it card or they’re accepting cash for the supermarkets, fast food resto, train etc?
For transport you usually need to buy a ticket but for restaurants and supermarkets they take cash/card
