I will never forget this wonderful song Arirang. I first heard it in Bavaria (Germany) a long time ago in a tiny chapel nearby a cow pasture. This very small church stood lonely on a narrow path in the countryside, where far and wide no other building could be seen. At that time I had a new friend from South Korea with whom I traveled to Bavaria. There we were surprised by a storm and sought shelter in this tiny church. And suddenly the Korean girl sang the Korean folk song Arirang in a wonderful voice.
@@noisefromthevoid7299 Bro, the song is from the one and only Korea, even if this version was produced in the south republic, it is a folkloric song, Tom 84 said it is the unofficial anthem because it is part of "both" Koreas (and it was used as the anthem in the tabletennis female tournament that Korea, unified, won against China in the finals, 1991)
Believe it or not, but this channel was the reason I went to South Korea and lived there for 2 years. Best decision of my life NK music just amazed me, it gave me a feeling of a place far away thats totally alien from the rest of the world. And still its so close to a super capitalist country with the most advanced technology, from rising out of a war.. and still this strict hierarchical thinking from past generation(s)... God I love it The closest I ever came to north korea was twice: 1. One time when I went to the DMZ 2. And when I sang this song in outdoor karaoke in 홍대... I'll return some day 🤍❤️💙
This is a South Korean version. The singer, Back Migyeong, is a defector and her album "love is one" was produced by RIAK in Seoul. You can find videos of her singing on South Korean television. Guess where I know this from? Check the video information. You have to put interpret, album and copyright owner underneath music that you do not own.
@@noisefromthevoid7299 but if you search North Korea Arirang you can also find a video of this version of the music video aired in KCTV (North Korean TV)
@@noisefromthevoid7299 wow I have just checked what you said and you are just really misleading; she used the North Korean instrumental version of Arirang and singed with her voice over it but UA-cam algorithm doesn’t know of course any North Korean songs so it thinks it’s her..
Wow her voice is so clear! As I am trying to listen to all the versions of arirang this is so unique. At the end they are same people despite of their situation now as 2 countries. What is that style of music's name plz?

This is the best version of them all. This is the unofficial national anthem for all koreans.
Yes you´re right. It´s wonderful.
Oh Yes
It is from South Korea though. RIAK produced this located in Seoul

I prefer this version over the South Korean one, it’s more chilling for some reason

It is not from North Korea though. It is sanf by a South Korean woman and the Producer RIAK is located in Seoul.
Find a pomegranate in a box of oranges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incredible
This piece of music is over 1,000 years old. Specific to north Korea.
Such a beautiful anthem, especially when sang by North Koreans.
It is sung by a North Korean defector and was produced by RIAK in Seoul South Korea. Her album is called love is one. It is not form North Korea.
north korea produces some quality music, compared to souths kpop
The Southern K-Pop is just generic westernized pop music for the most part. Much of the Northern music is more uniquely Korean.
South Korean music is not all about kpop and this song is Korean (both South and North) traditional song...
This song was produced by RIAK in South Korea and is sung by a defector of North Korea. This IS South Korean music.
Nice song💜💜💜
beautiful
The best anthem after Kurdish anthem
WUNDERVOLL !!!!!!!!!

Like we ban products from slavery labor no matter what the quality is, we should not praise this video from North Korea.
It is from South Korea. The singer is a defector od North Korea and it was produced by RIAK in Seoul
