I just bought my first basket muzzle, and went with Baskerville based on trainers' reviews of them. So far so good. Honestly, they are not that expensive (even for the 6 we need for our Danes).

I got one of these for my girl and am in the process of training her to wear it. Once she will leave it on for a short time without trying to remove it, I will check the fit to see if I need to mold it, but the fit seems quite good right away. I think when she is used to it, it will be fairly comfortable for her.

Great muzzle. Had 3 of them now due to loosing one and the other one too small. Only wish you padded the inside of the muzzle as when my Zak trys to get it off by rubbing his head on the ground it takes the fur and skin off his snout. Design a padded one and I'm in for another one.

Just got a baskerville muzzle for my dog Dakota today because she has a tendency of being dog aggressive and has tried to lunge at the puppy at my dad’s place whenever we go their and has bit their senior boxer on her lip twice, she is an Angel with people but can be terrible with most other dogs (she’s good with our other dog Arya, a neighbor’s dog named Max, and like 4 other dogs). Just got the muzzle today so as long as someone can remind me to reply to this comment I will respond with my opinion on the muzzle and if it all goes well in about a week or two, but as of currently she’s doing excellent with muzzle training!

Completely forgot about this! Anyways so the muzzle is good! She’s gettin used to it and actually gets excited when she sees it (thanks to conditioning her to the muzzle), muzzle works well but she can take it off very easily which is concerning to me but aye that’s what I get for having an aggressive yet intelligent dog 🧍

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier British breed dog, we have tried lots of different muzzles, unlucky we didn't find the one that would fit our dog, we have came across your Baskerville muzzle, and we didn't find the right size for our dog. Do you have any recommendations? Which size do you recommend?

My pittie can easily take off the three strap baskerville. I use the JAFCO muzzle with three straps and she can't take it off. Going to try a leather basket muzzle. Both have options for a treat hole. Also, my dog can drink and pant with JAFCO muzzle.

    Good afternoon,
I am the founder of Muzzled Misfits, a muzzle advocacy page. Our goal is to shine a positive light on muzzles, the dogs who wear them and owners who choose to use them regardless of why.
We currently share positive stories, success stories, and educational information regarding muzzles. Eventually we hope to have meet ups for muzzled dogs and their owners in the farm of structured walks and supervised socials (for those who are safe to do so), as well as help educate Veterinary and shelter/Rescue staff on proper muzzle sizing, training and uses.
We are trying to get more input from Pet Professionals such as Dog Trainers, Veterinary Staff, and so forth. I know you are very busy, but I would absolutely love if you could share your thoughts on muzzles, muzzle training and any other information to be featured on our page!
    Thank you so much!

Our dog has a very high prey drive….and seems to be getting faster with age! She is border collie crossed with a Labrador. She has chased, caught and even sometimes killed pigeons, magpie, rabbits, squirrels, rats, even deer. Walks can be stressful so we bought a muzzle. She is pretty good wearing it…..gets a cream cheese yummy squirt through it as reward for putting it on, then extra squirts while out and about. She has managed to loose two muzzles in about two months. So looking to get one like the Baskerville Ultra that also clips to her collar. A black one would be good, as she is black and the previous two Baskerville ones have been brown…..also she has been able to pant but not with her long tongue hanging out. Drinking has not been easy.
