Great video. I just purchased the CM5510. And I noticed that for each long black coffee made, the drip tray fills up slightly. Is this normal?
Does the 5300 have the same brew unit as the 6m series? Or is it inferior. Thank you
Great video - so the pucks surprised us the most (hey, I'm orig from NY and I immediately turned to my husband and asked, "did she just say the machine shits pellets?"). I may be in FL now but you can't take the NY outta the girl! We want to know more about the units that have the auto-descale feature. The most popular model doesn't have it but there wasn't mention of the ones that do have it or in which way its automatic (it needs volumes of water). Thanks! You are so NJ - you remind me of my family members in Cliffside Park!
dispense them in compact grounds... (ear cleaning overdue lady)..
@@peterolsovsky I take it you've never been or lived in NY
that really ugly milk hose(
As a Miele CM owner, DO NOT BUY A MIELE coffee maker. It will break and when it does, customer support will treat you as if they don't care you spent the money you did and they will charge you to fix it. Minimum cost is $360 per service. STAY AWAY
My problem with the machine is the cheap construction for the price. They have a version that cost $5,000 and it’s not a full stainless steel construction. Clearly just trying to sell a cheap product based off their brand name…. Smh.
One of the BIGGEST mistakes I've ever made as a coffee geek - was switching from Jura to Miele! As per what commenter Adam J Greenberg says below - these machines don't perform well and their customer support is a JOKE! After trying to troubleshoot my CM5310 as to why my coffee is not as it should be - they actually told me that I shouldn't be using any brand of Beans but Miele Beans @$44.00! Are you kidding me - I've used so many different brands of beans in my Jura and never had a problem. I never heard of such garbage. They said the next step was to send it in for a repair which was costly! - all this for noise and bad Joe! I'm going to go back to Jura! On another note - I have owned Miele appliances in my home for years but all the newer ones purchased in the LAST year - including my Washer & Dryer and dishwasher - SUCK! They just don't make 'em like they used to!🤮
Commenters have reported that Jura tastes more acidic than Miele. Any thoughts?
@@desmondliao Nope - my Jura could compete with any upscale coffee shop. The other neg about this Miele is that if you make a double specialty drink that uses milk and you are the only coffee drinker - the machine takes all the water in the tank to rinse the machine making only one drink per FULL water tank! Wayyyyyy to much work for a morning cup of Joe!
I tried their machine at William & Sonnoma store.
Did not like it. You need to understand this machine makes a lot of noise. Very loud I must emphasize. And the regular mug or coffee glass do not fit when you make your coffee.
Not worth hefty $7k price.
You want to consifder buying other brands.
I had the Miele wall coffee machine.. its literally the WORST coffee machine ever.. for every 4 coffees, this crap forces you to descale and clean all the time.. NO SHIT!
