Thanks for the video X! The new version is up on the forum link. It can be installed by ReaPack and fixes a bunch of bugs including that nasty bug in 1.0 that cut other clips short in the project where it's loaded. Some new features and new GUI as well. I personally don't use any HiDPI scaling on my monitor, so I just leave it on "Aware", so if people aren't using scaling that should be fine. Stay tuned to the forum thread for more features and updates
Did your version automatically create an rs5k instance or did you have to import it as a sample layer and then add it as a sample in mcsequencer? Does it create the rs5k instance as soon as you drage and drop it into the sequencer?

I have both Sower and MCSequencer on my system. I'm leaning more towards continued use of Sower instead. MCSequencer tends to mess with a lot of things in Reaper. 1. When you adjust the length of the pattern in MCSequencer, it affects all the other clips you have in the session and that can be really difficult to recover from if you're someone that likes cutting up clips and using parts of different lengths in different areas of your arrangement. 2. If you already had your strings played in and decide to add drums later, pulling up MCSequencer will set the length of all the clips in your session to it's default pattern length or selection length if you have made a selection in ur session. Most times, this will cause clips to overlap all over the session. Even though the drag & drop function is great, it often causes a lot of irreparable damages to my sessions.
Man that's good to know it's definitely not perfect... But it will help those who are use to FL Studio... I won't be using it on my main Reaper computer due to the multiscreen V2 messes with all my settings and vsts. Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾

Really informative and helpful tutorial.. A humble request... Do you mind doing a tutorial on how to make an orchestral template for film scoring an actual short film in reaper? I'm an aspiring composer, and that would be really helpful...
It's kinda hard to do that due to all the factors that go into setting it up ... You may not have the vsts that I use the ones you have might not have articulations for expression... How you do your Foley matters are you using vsts or are you actually playing along with the short film... I have never scored a short film or any film.. 😂 but if you want to get started you use BBC orchestra from spitfire audio it should have all the elements that you need just make a track for each section of the orchestra... So violin one... Violin two... Horns... Basses so on and so forth... This will get you to see how an orchestra is setup hope this helps..😀🙏🏾

Kinda like tempo mapping and creating automation clips, where necessary... Any links to resources that might help me in this quest will be highly appreciated...
The instructions are in the video... It's not a vst it's a script... You have to have sws and reapack installed in Reaper in order to use the script... I have a video showing how to add these 2 features to Reaper... Then you just add the link in the video to your reapack and you will have the script... Hope this helps..😀🙏🏾

It looks like he changed it to a reapacks install instead... Which is probably better than the zip .. if you are not sure how to do the reapacks I have a video showing how to install them in Reaper.... You can go back to this link in this video and he has the GitHub site to download the reapacks... Hope this helps..😀🙏🏾

I prefer using Reaper better export... CPU... Media explorer... Piano roll and customization but FL Studio step sequencer make it easier to make patterns and put them together and alot of people use FL Studio it is one of the most popular DAWs out... So when I tell people that Reaper is a great DAW they always say but FL has this and does this then I can show them that Reaper can do that as well and the majority of the times better... FL is a one trick pony, it's only good for basic beat making but it's nowhere near flexible and customizable and as efficient as Reaper. You can get a step sequencer of FL in Reaper but you can't get the flexibility and the insane mixing capabilities of Reaper in FL.
@@djtripnosys no, you are wrong here, Full version of FL Studio is $200-250 depending on your country which is Producer Edition. For $499 you get additional instruments and effects, but core functionality is the same. You can't just compare Reaper that doesn't come with instruments at all to the all plugins bundle that FL team made for 25 years and bring it as a con comparing prices. Because even Producer edition comes with about 100 instruments and effects. Still pricier but free updates for life too.

It's the media explorer... I just have it docked to the left side bar... Just dock the explore and move the tab to the right hand side of Reaper and it should add it... Let me know if you have questions...😀🙏🏾

There is not an option for that unless you know code... You can try and request it from the person who made it I left a link to the forum just ask and see... 😀🙏🏾
Yea... That's why I don't use it on my main Reaper it messes all of mine up as well... The big vsts get cut off .. the small ones are really small... It is experimental... Unfortunately that's why I don't use all these scripts on my main Reaper 😔.. if your on Windows you can try right click on Reaper go to properties..UI settings and change that to system or app and see how the plugins react... Hope this helps
@@ArthurMcArthur Thank you, but I'm not using a normal keyboard and mouse. I'm using a controller, and it helps when I avoid modifier keys (shift, Ctrl, alt). It's not always avoidable, but I avoid it as much as possible to maintain my particular workflow. That's one of the things I like about the sower alternative, because the same single left click that you use to insert the note is the same left click to delete the note. There should at least be a way of customizing how you add and delete notes.

@@rano12321 I'm just saying that if you need features from another DAW you might as well be using that DAW for the feature.. every DAW has it's own workflow, so taking pieces of one that you're gonna have to tweak the script on is kinda counter-productive, because that feature was not built into the DAW with that intended use. It's inferior in the sense that a caveman can use FL lol but you're tweaking values before you can settle and start editing here.. More tweaking is more time taken away from actually making stuff. If it was flexible you wouldn't even think about needing anything outside of it from another DAW. I surely have never run into that problem using FL. With all that said do what works for you 🙏🏾
